    No you are a wonderful help, this thread is all about sharing information so thank you. Yes, I will have her ask because as you mentioned Vanessa had no such issues doing the medical beforehand. What is FRN exactly?

    the FRN case number is the number you will get from NVC and basically stands for Frankfurt. Your USCIS case number kinda disappears after it was sent to your embassy for final processing, but donno if it actually is still on the case when it arrives there. I'd ask them if you can do it with your USCIS number or if you need the case number from the embassy. :)

    You keep making it sound like we have to wait to do the medical until after we have received our NVC case number while others have done the medical before.

    So which is it? As it is now, she is going to schedule the medical for next week in Berlin.

    sorry that I wanted to help....I called Dortmund and Frankfurt before I had my case number from Frankfurt and was told that I need the FRN case number. But maybe it depends...I just can speak for these two doctors. Ask the doctor in Berlin if they need the FRN number or not. Vanessa for example in Munich didn't need the NVC case number.

    1. Weiß einer von Euch wie man die Case No. ließt?

    2. Ich reise ja in knapp 2 Wochen wieder in die USA. Was würdet Ihr an meiner Stelle sagen, wenn Ihr nach dem "purpose of visit" gefragt werdet? Bisher hab ich immer "visiting family and friends" gesagt. Aber der sieht ja in seinem PC, ich K1 Beneficiary bin.

    Mein Problem ist im Grunde, dass mein Freund und ich noch gar nicht "offiziell" verlobt sind, da er noch nicht gefragt hat. Wir wissen zwar schon wann wir heiraten wollen und wie etc. aber die offizielle Frage und der Ring kamen noch nicht. Was sag ich denn wenn der Officer in seinen PC schaut und fragt wie lange wir schon verlobt sind? wacko.png

    Gott... ich weiß... nervige Fragen. Und wahrscheinlich mache ich mir viel zu viele Gedanken....

    Bin während des Prozesses für 3 Monate eingereist und habe einfach gesagt, dass ich meinen Verlobten besuche, wir das Fiance Visa beantragt haben und wir auch in der Zeit nach Hochzeits locations etc schauen möchten. Und er hat mir viel Glück für uns gewünscht und war positiv interessiert aber ob das bei jedem so ist weiss ich auch nicht, kommt immer drauf an. Aber Ehrlichkeit finde ich wichtig. Wenn du Uni oder nen job hast dann kannst du von denen ja ein letter mitnehmen, dass du noch eingeschrieben bist oder dass du Arbeit hast, also wieder zurück nach Deutschland gehst. Aber mach dir nicht so viele Gedanken :)

    I haven't seen any update yet but then we also don't have a case number. I am so anxious to get this going. Everything is Hurry up and wait. lol Not my strong suit.

    you're going to get your case number soon. Patience is difficult but key in this process. You got your Noa2 fast and it takes Texas some time to ship it to NVC but once it is at NVC the process is going to be very fast!! :) Goooood luck and stay positive!

    Mit diesem Beitrag hat bei uns alles angefangen, die ersten Leute die Ende Mai nach Texas "weitergeleitet" wurden. Ich glaube da schreiben aber auch jetzige transfers noch rein.

    Mein Case wurde ja gestern zu "another office" transferred. Zwei Stunden nach der Benachrichtigung kam wieder eine Email wo drin stand "your local office". Ist das nun gut... oder ein Versehen?

    Ich hab mal hier irgendwo was von 3 Emails während des transfers gelesen. Hat jemand damit Erfahrung... also was die zweite Email bedeutet, warum in so kurzem Abstand und was es mit den eigentlichen 3 Emails auf sich hat?

    Dein Wort in Gottes Ohr... Ich hoffe es wirklich SOOOO SEHR!!! Ich hab mal ein wenig nach Beiträgen gesucht. Irgendwie werde ich das unsichere Gefühl trotzdem nicht so ganz los.

    Wirklich? Es ist gut? Ich trau mich gar nicht das zu glauben.

    Dieses lange warten etc... Irgendwie kann ich gar nicht ganz glauben, dass diese Warterei und das ständige telefonieren und nicht beieinander sein mal ein Ende hat... Ich hoffe ein NOA2 so sehr.

    Ich fliege ja in knapp zwei Wochen wieder zu meinem Schatz und bleibe 3 Wochen, also bis Mitte September. Es wäre echt ein TRAUM wenn wir NOA2 bekommen würden, wenn ich da bin und wir uns zusammen (also in person) freuen dürfen... Und vor allem ist dann die Wartezeit und Trauer nachdem ich wieder weg muss leichter zu ertragen wenn man weiß, dass es voran geht...

    Dein case wurde wahrscheinlich zum Texas Service Center geschickt. Unser case wurde mit allen Dezember bis Mit-Januar cases am 29.Mai nach Texas geschickt und wir haben ebenfalls erstmal 2-3 emails bekommen und auch mit "local office" aber es wurde nur zum Texas Service Center geschickt. Du findest hier ganz viele verschiedene Beiträge dazu denn nach den Dezember und Januar cases wurden im Juni auch Februar und März cases nach Texas geschickt. An sich ist das ein gutes Zeichen, denn da wird man schneller approved UND mittlerweile kennen sie sich mit den I-129F's auch aus!! :D

    Yes, she will be doing the medical in Berlin.

    I am nervous about these next steps and want to make sure no mistakes are made so we can avoid any delays.

    It has now been one week since NOA2, I will wait until next Wednesday to call NVC and ask if we have a case number, correct? Or will I receive a notice from NVC?

    So close, yet so far away

    you will receive a hardcopy from NVC but you can call NVC or DOS and get your new case number earlier so that you can for example make an appointment for the medical faster.

    I know how you feel but be patient. It's gonna be soon. We were the first batch who got tranferred to texas on may 29th. We got our noa2 on june 21 and on july 11th we got a notice on the USCIS status check that our case has been shipped to NVC. It takes some time but I guess your case is gonna be at NVC soon. :)

    Finally , after exactly 8 months waiting - Approved!

    Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

    On August 5, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

    I am so happy . After few hours I will wake up my sunshine with the news!

    Now we can take a breath , it was hard process for us.

    I waited for you guys to be approved!! I'm so happy that it finally happened!! Now on to the next step!!! :)dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

    We got our approval notice around 10:30 pm eastern time.

    e-mail notifcation it was shipped to DOS/NVC around 10:15 pm eastern time

    and NVC case number we called always late for example called Friday at 2pm and they didn't have our case number and called at 9pm and they had :)
