License hat 5 Minuten gedauert. Dann könntest du dich in Colorado theoretisch selbst trauen und die unterschriebene License gleich wieder abgeben und am nächsten Tag der Certificate abholen

wow das ist ja der Wahnsinn!! Große Unterschiede von Staat zu Staat. Wie viel kostet nun Permanent resident card, EAD card und AP 1075 oder 1300 insgesamt? Ich habe irgend wie die ganze Zeit was von 1300 im Kopf und bin ein bisschen mit der uscis Seite confused.

USCIS arbeitet ganz normal, da die fast komplett durch unsere Gebühren finanziert werden

Alleine die marriage license zu beantragen war nicht easy...die nette Dame meinte man müsse bei ihnen eigentlich mindestens einen Monat wenn nicht ein halbes Jahr vorher einen Termin vereinbaren...und dann hatten wir eine EXAKT 72h Frist bis wir die marriage license abholen konnten. 72h Frist ist in New Jersey normal, aber normalerweise reicht es bei anderen Orten/Städten einen Termin eine Woche vorher für die marriage license zu vereinbaren .

What it means .if date changes on ceac website it was 16 Aug mow its 20 Aug.??

we ve different embassies but for mine it meant that after they date changed they were ready for the next step.

TSC sent our case to NVC 2 weeks after approval . NVC recieved yesterday , and today we have our new case number. Yheaaaa !!! I think we were lucky at this stage after 8,5 months waiting.

I just had my interview and thank god I got approved!!! So happy this waiting journey is amost over. My flight is booked - 30 days till I get to be with my love again!!

If anybody had experience with that already (and it seems to be the case ) how scary is the interview? I read a couple of experiences on the embassy page in this forum, but i am just curious to know how reasonable it is be get a denial even though you have a normal happy relationship?

I feel like in general I am unbelievably nervous about this interview and I am very scared to screw up. Are they really asking mostly about financial support?

And the I-134 has to be filled out by my fiance and then by somebody else in case my fiance cannot support us and doesn't go above the poverty line. Did I understand that right?

Hey Inga,

the interview isn't scary at all. The final interview was done in about 10 (or less) minutes (before I just had to go to two different counters to write my address down on the "DHL express Marke, fingerprints and a different counter to say that the US address on my documents is still the same). The officer spoke in German to me (I was really surprised about that) and he only asked "how did you meet?", "when did you meet?", "when was your last visit?" & "where does your fiance work?" after he said "Your visa is approved and you should have it in the mail by next week". I also did my medical in Frankfurt and you wanna be there early (they open at 7.30 am) and I had a great experience there...only took me about 2h.

Soooo, alles gut!!

Haha danke dir! Ja erstmal die 1 1/2 Monate genießen wo man sich nicht mehr mit Papierkram auseinandersetzen muss . Kann es noch immer nicht glauben....nur noch 11 Tage...bin mal auf'n POE gespannt aber bis jetzt waren die immer nett im Vergleich zu Newark.

I can't believe that the K1 visa journey is finally over!! Today I received my Visa via DHL and couldn't be any happier. <3

I am so happy and relieved that I understand and I feel confident again. The only thing is that they are saying: Please send those forms in immediately! If you not do do it will promptly delay your process.

I mean if I take a week to gather this one last document i still need it is not going to delay it for months, right?

And the one big letter with all documents AND forms are only sent to the Embassy in Frankfurt (in my case)?

No, take the time you need to gather everyhing. They just mean if you already have it ready then it will go faster. For example I had everything ready...got my Packet 3 letter fridays, mailed the documents in saturday and it arrived monday and I got my Interview 10 days later. Plus it seems that from huge importance it is what date you write for proposed travel (on the request of interview). Is it a date in close future you might become an interview appointment earlier. Hey Inga! You have to mail them all at once. Follow the K1 checklist link http://photos.state.... Applicants.pdf and thats all you have to send in, meaning the DS-documents, and everything from number 1 - 10 plus the request for Interview page (page 3 of the checklist) and all documents that need to be mailed for the I-134 evidence of support (employment letter, tax returns, bank letter, paystubs etc.)

My Fiance needs the FRN number for the medical in Berlin so we must wait. Today is 2wks since NOA2 and I called the NVC. They say it has not yet reached the NVC

If you were a texas transfer then most people get a notification on the USCIS status update page that their case got shipped to NVC. When people got that notification it took about 8-9 days for a case number. Seems like only texas sends out notification when they ship it to NVC, happened to us also.

I guessed you also need a FRN case number for the medical but stay positive when you get the case number everything goes very fast. We got our case number 07/19 and yesterday I had my Interview at Frankfurt embassy. Good look for your journey!!

Das stimmt schon so! Den braunen Umschlag, den du beim POE vorlegen musst, bekommst du zusammen mit deinem Reisepass zugeschickt sowie einen Brief, wo Unterlagen vom Medical drin sind.

Danke!! Gestern stand im CEAC Status update noch "administrative process" und heute schon "issued". Ich bin einfach so überwältigt wie schnell alles ab Frankfurt geht, das ist man einfach nicht gewohnt nach dem langen Prozess bei USCIS. Ich drücke euch die Daumen, dass ihr auch bald alles fertig habt!!

Hab eine Frage bezüglich des "braunen Umschlages"....ich habe so einen gar nicht bekommen weil ich beim medical in Frankfurt lediglich eine CD mit den Röntgenaufnahmen bekommen habe und die Bestätigung meiner Impfungen. Habe ich irgend was verpasst??

At Russian embassy interview dates were open for almost everyday, since we did medical and police report ahead. I had long email conversation with embassy and when our case was there for 11 days I emailed them again. Immediately I got response with "invitation" and instruction via email how to pay and schedule interview date.

Turns out in Russia you just pay $240 and schedule interview, but make sure that all paperwork is done and on hand!!

She had interview on Monday and we are APPROVED!! Visa will be ready in few days - they say YAAAAYYYY

How does it take to get my NVC case number? I was approved on 7/16 and I received a text on 8/8 that my file was been shipped or transferred to the state department for visa processing. But when I called NVC yesterday and today, they keep saying me I should allow 8 weeks. Is that true?

most times when you got the "shipped" notification i took about 8-9 days to get your case number.
