      that's a tough call, really. we were in the same spot, to send a new one or the original (prior) version. I sent the original (prior) version and was ok, but it's a new month, aye? I am unsure, on this one.

    We received Interview Instruction Sheet today, scheduled my mom's interview for Oct 10 2013. I am so excited!!!

      Yes, I received by email with instruction. Then I scheduled her interview on ustraveldocs website. The next page is the interview appointment letter, you can DL and Print or EMAIL to multiparty.

      I was unable to schedule her interview until I received the interview instruction sheet.

    DOS Agent said "case open" but I still cannot schedule appointment on the ustraveldocs site.

    Darnell, I called DOS and the agent told me that the case is open. Now I cannot log on to the ustravedoc site. It kept saying that my email format is wrong.

    Darnell, Called DOS. The visa agent told me that the Consulate has received my mother's case file but still no interview date yet. I asked her when did they receive the file. She said don't know. She kept all answer shorts. I am hoping for a good news soon! It took them about 2 months to receive the file.

      ok - you are listening for 'casefile opened'. or ask about date for 'casefile opened'. after 'casefile opened', packet 4 sent out with appointment letter, 2 to 3 weeks AFTER 'casefile opened'.

    Darnell, I just went on to ustravel doc website trying to see if I could get an appointment. This is the error message I got

      you could call the usa number NOW or you could call the china office - or just review the appointment calendar - you pick. regardless - do something !

      nah - i am at the mercy of NVC for scheduling, and NVC is at the mercy of the human at GUZ IV who releases the scheduling slots. Things have changed (for the worse) after 15 May 2013 for releasing of slots - it massively sucks.
