    NEW AOS I-864 FORM?!

    I just tried to sign in the payment portal and couldn't. This is what it said " You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information." Should I be worried

    If it says that, it means they are invoicing you so don't be worried but be happy :) Check Saylin's post # 1 and #2

    saylin I check the link and for Haiti is unavailable to make sure I called NVC the ope said I don't need one. Thanks to the Lord because my AOS and IV package is in the building.

    Hi Micky,

    How do u know if your AOS and IV package is in the building ? Just curious becoz I sent mine early this week and I checked my tracking # and they are both in the building but am waiting this week...then I will start to call them next week to see if any case completes or checklist. Hoping and praying for no checklist. Please God help us all. Keep me updated about your case because I think you and dubai guy are sort of at the same timeline with the AOS and IV packages.     Finally, I get some update for my case after calling NVC today.

    I get my case number/Invoice number at 5/24/2013.

    DS-3032 email was send at 5/25/2013. (Haven't get the response yet)

    I can login into the online system from 5/24/2013, but the AOS bill didn't show up.

    6/3/2013 I tried to login into online payment system, but fail. Website asked me to contact NVC.

    6/4/2013 Call NVC to check when can I pay AOS bill, since it has been a while after getting case number and Invoice number. NVC guy said it is a little bit longer than normal process time and ask me to wait for the instruction.

    One hour later, I received one email from NVC.

    1st email: case number (PAOSF I-130 FOR NEOPOST DS-1200)

    Then, I can access online payment system and can see the AOS bill. Paid it right away.

    A few minutes later, receive another email from NVC.

    2nd email: case number (ACL FOR NEOPOST DS-1200)

    For the 1st email, it is basically the instruction for me(petitioner).

    2nd email, it is the instruction for my wife.

    I am thinking to ask my wife to resend the DS-3032 again with modified subject lines. (supervisor review...)

    I am trying to submit both AOS and IV package together since I need some time to get the 2012 tax document ready. I did the tax extension for 2012 and realized some people in this forum get the request for 2012 tax return. So I think it would be better to submit 2012 tax return to avoid RFE.

    Is it ok to send the DS-3032 again? or any suggestion for me to speed up the NVC process?

    Yes send the DS-3032 again and put in Supervisor review as it says in Syalin's post 1 or 2. I had to send mine 3 times and it i got rejected twice but got approved the third time around. But wait, did u get a rejection email from them after u sent the first one, becoz I got rejected emails and that was why I sent another one.

    Praise the Lord! Just got off the phone with NVC. July 24th is the interview!! God is so so good!

    Congrats! Yeah!..Good luck..start prepping for the interview.....hopefully I can get a case complete this month ( I just send my AOS and IV packages..I am praying for no checklist coz I have all the documents send...please Allah help me) and get an august interview.....this shows that we have hopes with Nairobi embassy dancin5hr.gif

    I have a question about the ds-230 form. (this form is so confusing in some ascpects)


    • I am filing CR-1 and question #9 asks for his marital status (I should put in married, right ?)
    • Spouse's name (which is me- should I give out all my info...right) (Question 14)
    • Then going down (this is where it gets confusing). 31a. Persons names in 14 and 29 who will accompany you to the United States now and 31b says Peron(s) named in 14 and 9 who will follow you to the United States at a later date.

    What is confusing here is the fact that am here, ....please help ?? I need to send this documents tomorrow morning so that they can start on the process asap. Thanks everyone.

    New I-864 version

    I have a question about the different versions for the I-864. Am trying to decide which one applies to my situation before I send it. I think by reading all the descriptions, that I-864ez works for me (no joint sponsors, no other person am sponsoring other than my spouse and income is from my current salary)....and looking at the uscis website....the I-864EZ has no limitations as I can send the old ones and they will still accept the old ones (no time frame as to the last day that they will accept them unlike the I-864) so I can send the old one and not worry that my spouse needs the new one for the interview. What do u guys think ? This is just my thoughts...and whoever has the old I-864EZ, can u plz PM me or post a link.

    There's 3 criteria you need to meet, and if you're eligible, you can fill out the I-864EZ.

    I think I do qualify the three criteria. Per NVC website, these are:

    - I filed an I-130 for my relative (yes, for my spouse)

    - There's only one applicant on the form I-130 (which is my spouse)

    - all my qualifying income comes from my salary (the job I have currently)

    I don't have any joint sponsors...so what do u guys think...this form...does apply to my situation, right? I just want to confirm and make sure before I send out the wrong AOS form.

    I interpret the guidelines to say that old versions of the I-184EZ will continue to be accepted, alongside the new version that they released. The only form for which they will not accept the old version after June 23 is the I-184, and it says this explicitly on the USCIS website.

    Yes I agree, if I do file using old I-864EZ, I don't have to worry as there is no limitation on it per uscis website....unlike a regular I-864....they don't accept the old ones after June 23rd.

    I am unsure as to if its also the I-864EZ version. Does anyone else know?

    I will, thank u! It's just confusing that all these AOS documents have various versions so am trying to make sure I pick up the version that fits me and from the sounds of it, I think I-864EZ fits me but how can I make sure...plz help guys. I will also post my question at the I-864 forum.

    I would VERY strongly advise that you fill out the OLD I-864 form if you are planning on sending in your AOS packet before June 23rd.

    The new forms have been out on hold for over a month now because the NVC has no idea how to process them! If you send in the new form it could seriously delay your application.

    Hi everyone/anyone,

    I have two questions.

    • I just got an email from NVC explaining that I have been assigned as the agent for my spouse and the invoice letter was attached as well. How long before it shows up on payment portal so that I can pay for it ? I thought it should show up right away...right ??
    • How do u set up your timeline to show up as your signature..like most of you have ? It helps when people see that..right ?

    I love you guys my ds3230 was denied Friday and I a was reading a post how to rep it back with supervisor rtviews .boom I did that last night there is my approval notice just now just waiting to pay IV

    Congrats on the approval. I already got an approval email from NVC (on 05/29) and just now, I just received an email with the invoice info but when I logged into payment portal, it has not been put in yet. Has anyone else had the same problem ????
