Just curious, anyone out there getting any august interview dates ?????

Called NVC this evening and interview not scheduled yet I hope and pray that they will schedule it pretty soon God willing. Let's continue to pray we all get august interviews.

I just received an email from NVC with my wife interview date!am so happy

Priority date: July 6 2011

Interview Date: August 1, 2013

Congrats, when did u get ur case completed ? Did u call NVC or it was just the email ? I had my case completed at nvc on 06/20/2013. Please let me know and thanks!

Goodmorning everyone.................Rainyblue....or anyone else out there waiting on Nairobi (Kenya) to schedule interviews....have u called ??? I am so scared to call only...to be told....not yet...but I will later this evening God willing. Lets pray that everyone in this thread gets an August interview. Please God make this happen!!!!

Well sunday is last day of month new thread starting than. So we say bye to the June interviews and congratulations to all the approvals and POE's.

I called Nvc today but they said that my interview has not been scheduled yet so.,,,I think they will start next week. Hoping and praying that I get an August interview In shaa Allah.

Got ur message, I am planning to call NVC tonite and see if they have started scheduling the interview dates so...we'll update u once that happens. I think most likely they will officially start Next week on Monday

I just called NVC to check the status of my AOS and IV packages. The IV package is reviewed and accepted. But they found an error on my I864EZ form. The operator said that I would receive a checklist next Monday or Tuesday.

Ah! Don't worry...hang in there...once they send u the checklist...correct the error and send it right back...I hope u get a case complete by the end of next week..Good luck and keep us updated on your journey.

Case complete as of yesterday per the operator ....Alhamdulilah (Thank you Allah)..........Now just waiting for the CC email...then it is onto waiting for an interview date...Nairobi embassy ... please give me an august interview...(Please Allah make this happen In shaa Allah)......Good luck to everyone on their journey.

Thanks Dwheels, u r the best...and the reason why I had the flag is becoz my spouse is from somalia (but lives in Kenya) but since somalia doesn't have an american embassy...he is going through Nairobi...but I went ahead and changed the flag...

I called early this week and they had already reviewed my AOS (no checklist) Alhamdulilah and I called today but they had not reviewed my IV packet...hoping In shaa Allah for a case complete and say the same words like.....In Shaa Allah. Does anyone know what date we are up to for the New I-864 form? I did see someone with a June 1st sent date get a checklist for the new AOS form...

I don't know about the dates but I sent mine on 06/03 (was received per Usps tracking #) and they reviewed it this week (Monday I think) and I got a false checklist for ds-230....Alhamdulilah!

I just got the checklist (Please confirm guyz if this is just a false checklist)...I just wanted to make sure...here it is:

Just called NVC and they stated that they did review my AOS and it's good. They did say that I will be receiving a check list requesting for the Ds-230 which I have already submitted so eagerly waiting for that. yeah ....

Once I paid the AOS bill the cover sheet was ready to be printed but I just paid the IV bill but I didn't see the IV cover sheet available to print, should I be worried??

You should be able to print it. I would call NVC about that because I was able to print mine right away. That is weird...

Question!! Is the cover sheet that you print from the payment portal is suppose to be the same for both AOS & IV packets??

No, you have two separate cover sheets for both the AOS and IV packets. You will see it says AOS/IV.when you print it or download it.

hello VJ friends

my fiance is having hard time to obtain Kenyan visa on his Somalian passport since there is no Kenyan Embassy function is Somalia where he lives so he will come thruogh Uganda like every other people do but our concern is do The Usem Nairobi will ask if he has Kenyan visa or not?

I am not sure about this but when I went to Kenya last year, i didn't have to get a kenyan visa from the kenyan embassy...i just got a visa stamped at the Jomo kenyatta airport...so maybe you should ask..somalis who have actually travelled with a somali passport. I think it would be a similar process. He can take a flight to nairobi from somalia (if there is one that is) and then he can pay 50 dollars and get the kenya visa stamped on his somali passport once he lands in nairobi. This is just an idea and it is also legal. I am not sure if the American embassy in nairobi will ask how he got into the country (but maybe they will) so it is a good thing to have. My husband lives in kenya so...I don't know with people coming from Somalia. Good luck with your visa journey and In shaa Allah may Allah make his visa interview easier for him.
