She fills that void of loneliness for me. Even through our letters, it's like she's right there in front of me, reading them to me. I love her smile and the way she makes me feel like I am the only man in the world. I love it when I send her a little gift, and when she finally receives it she has to tell me about it immediately. Her excitement is contagious, like some kind of love vaccine that keeps me on my feet all day even when I feel like I just want to fall down and go to sleep. She is really one in a million billion.

I think what you are saying here is really disingenuous. Who cares what others think? If you love each other, then you love each other, period. And who cares if you would date each other if you were both in the states? They're not both in the states, so it's not even worth thinking about. Why create problems where there are no problems? If you love someone, you love them. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that.

If you are really in love, you put aside what other people think. The people around me have said some very unkind things about my relationship. It hurts, but I just set aside what people think. That's just how it is when you're in love.

Pah - you're all starters
We first had a relationship 33 years ago <gulp> at college. Took up where we left off in 2008 so to speak. What I find a little sad is how fast the last 5 years has gone and therefore how keen we are to get this move done !
