  1. Hey all

Had my AOS interview yesterday in NYC. Obviously its only natural to be super nervous but it went well and was over in 15 minutes. The IO gave us a form saying we will hear from them in the future regarding the decision.

I checked online last night and it says "On May 8, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status."

Does this mean we have been approved?

    Thank You

Congrats >i am a nervous Wreck have been checking the USCIS website constantly

  2. well interview was this morning at 0830 hrs, lady was tough as nails... We answered Most Questions Correctly and thanks God we were Not Separated. She questioned us as to why we did not have enough Pictures and my Wife answered one question incorrectly,Bummer and then she Told us that she will have to review the case with her Supervisor.

Gave us Notice of interview Results and it was marked the First one at the Top:"Your case is being held for review.

One more thing is they Had lost my Sponsors Tax records a well....i had a Copy and also she asked for my I-20.No i am so stressed out i Dont know whether i was approved or Not ,Dreading that we will have a 2nd Interview

  3. You'll get in a breeze, as long as you have a few documents to prove your marriage sincerity.

Oi! one more thing, Kenyan Football team came to Nigeria and almost disgraced us lol Y'all need to show respect to the current king of football in Africa lol

    Cheers bro!

    Thank you

Thats how we roll Son!!,weird thing getting my EAD on april 27th and interview on the 15th of May....so close together

We were approved on the spot.

Our interview was scheduled for 1pm, but we arrived at 1245pm. We checked in and waited till 1:20pm before we were ushered into the interview room. The IO was super nice and professional. She asked us how we met and why we decided to marry so quickly after just dating for few months. That was it. The other questions were just the generic security/terrorism/prostitution questions. The main interview took about 3 minutes, while the other generic questions took about 7 minutes.

After we were done, she told us that I have been approved and that I need to file for ROC in about 2 years. The IO then ushered us out.

After the approval, we went to Chili's to go eat lunch. As soon as we started eating, I received 2 emails stating that:

"On April 23, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

"On April 23, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I want to say a very BIG Thank You to VisaJourney and its members and participant.

THANK YOU, and see you in 21 months time for ROC.
