Natalie y Richard got a reaction from hjcruz916 in Help before filing I-130
Never said it was mandatory just said you do have to be unless you have a real good excuse like hardship or your sick and you will need to prove it. Just look at old Dominican cases where they didn't go and they were denied. I wouldn't chance it. They want to see it's a bonafide relationship and they ask both the questions. As a matter of fact when I was at my interview a Dominican citizen was denied cause her hubby lived in New York and he didn't show up because they thought he didn't have to. They didn't consider it "bonafide" and poor thing was upset and denied. Those our my sources.

In Dominican Republic YOU DO have to be present at the interview. Each country is different but DR is one that both parties have to be present! Good Luck!

Natalie y Richard got a reaction from ANJOS in CEAC Status Updated- Again
When you called and they told you DR received it did they receive it electronically or did DHL send it already? This confused me as well when I waited almost 3 weeks to get my interview date. If you call NVC you can ask and if it was received electronically then keep calling till they tell you they physically received the packet. Your status date should change again then your interview should be scheduled in 2 days. Let us know!! Good luck!

Natalie y Richard got a reaction from jalvarez320 in Picking up Visa vs. waiting for it in the mail?
I understand you want to plan, we all did or do. Most of our fiance's have never left the country including mine. They all did just fine traveling by themselves. There are plenty of people that know he is traveling on staff and assist rather well. Besides once he is in it's not like you can be with him while they ask him questions during point of entry so you will be separated anyways. I would not take that chance on buying plane tickets because its different from every case. Our visa was issued 4 days after interview and was ready to be picked up at domex 3 days after that, but my friend Monica who was just approved had her interview on Monday and her visa in hand by Wednesday. Its all a gamble but your fiance being a man from DR will know how to fend for himself. Don't start babying him now they get used to that!!! Hope you don't get offended it's just the truth! Good Luck!

Natalie y Richard got a reaction from Ismael&Blair in Is this a possible RFE
No I think its a case of reading to much VJ and freaking out. This site could help but it can definitely bring you confusion and doubt if you let it. Try to just stay calm and positive. RFE's usually consist of something missing not missing labels. If it helps I did not label my pics and I had no personal affidavits and I received no RFE! Hope it helps.

Manita... Read this and just pray. Fight for what is yours and don't lose faith or hope. I know its easier said than done and all though I haven't had my interview yet any thing could happen. I know soon you and Jhon will be together. I think you have some great advise here and you should put your game face on and do what you can. Contact who ever you need to especially God (and your local congressman lol). You know this!!! I love you Dee!
PREPARING FOR THE PROMISE
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear.” (Psalm 10:17, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD - from Joel and Victoria In the scripture, it says that God didn’t lead the Israelites by the shortest route to the Promised Land; He took them the long way on purpose because they were not prepared for war. God knew that if He would have taken them into the land too quickly, they would have been easily defeated. Their enemies were much bigger and much more experienced. I’m sure they prayed many times, “God, we’re uncomfortable out here in the desert. We’re hot. We’re tired. Where’s our Promised Land?” But God didn’t answer that prayer, not because He was trying to make their lives miserable, but because He knew what was up in front of them. He had to prepare them to step into the fullness of their destiny. In the same way, God has already laid out the plan for your life. He knows exactly what you need and when you need it. If you are in a difficult situation that’s taking longer than you had hoped, know that God is preparing you. He is strengthening you. Stay in faith and keep praising Him as you move forward into the Promised Land He has for you! A PRAYER FOR TODAY Father, thank You for leading and guiding me. Thank You for Your hand of blessing upon my life. I choose to trust You even in the difficult times knowing that You are preparing me for the promises in my future in Jesus’ name. Amen. — Joel & Victoria Osteen -

Natalie y Richard got a reaction from Mr&Mrs.Boo in can someoene help me!!
I was married and petitioned for my exhusband everything was fine. We did not use a lawyer but an office that prepared immigration apps and charged $500. Needles to say we are divorced and I am currently filing for my Fiance. Since i was afraid we would have issues filing (since i petitioned for my ex who is now about to be a US citizen) I went to a lawyer and she did not want the case because she was afraid of my outcome. Since i was not going to let her scare me i put all my faith in God because He is the only one Who knows my heart. i filed my self And He led me to VJ I followed the instructions I read on members profiles and i was approved with no RFE. We have our interview soon and in our hearts we know,we will be together and happy. I know you will be fine if you just ask and research and soon you will be,with your Soulmate.

I am in the medical field and if you know about the HIPPA you would know its ilegal for anyone to release your medical records without your consent. Relax you will be fine.

My vacation went GREAT! I saw my Honey for 5 days and it was amazing. It was much needed and it definitely took my mind of the process for a bit. Yesterday was hard though! Leaving him each time gets harder especially when you are left in the air with no decision! We cried and departed and my heart felt heavy all through yesterday. I traveled from 8am until 3am to get home and when I checked the mail to see if my NOA2 was there of course it wasn't! I prayed for a long time last night for hope strength and maybe an answer!
This morning my usual routine is to get to work sign in to my PC and open up all my work screens. For the past 8 months USCIS.gov was one of them. Everyday I entered my receipt number and it told me my case could not be found! Today I looked and all of sudden it was there!! On May 22 we mailed you and NOA2 that your app was APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG. My whole department clapped and some even cried! Thank you Jesus! I love you! I woke him up and we both cried because GOD is good and answered our prayer!!!
Thank you VJ fam for all the love! Now on to the CITA!!!!!
