Interview date July 1 we were missing one doc and told everything is looking fine and we need extra review so u r put under AP in the mean time.... our doc was received on 5th of July since than No news was received and whenever I call we get dead end answer so we r sitting tie and praying hard

Yeah call the NVC after at least a week that u been approved ur sec question nope the USCIS don't update any more they done with ur case and NVC usually don't update you when it leaves but u will knw by calling them after u get ur Case # any way when ur case is physically in NVC u maybe able to change ur address since it maybe ask ur fiancee in da interview but also ask ppl here in visa journey someone else may have better idea hope all hoes smooth

I would keep the friends address since you won't received any more from either NVC not USCIS after the NO2 however they might ask your fiancée where he will live so provide her to ur actual address during the interview but other than that there is no packet to you from NVC to you just keep on calling to get your case# and they will ship the case to da usem right away good luck

Ours went to AP after the interview and then the sec day READy like yours says now then 6days later went back to AP but call DOS coz even though it was saying READY they used to tell me Am under AP good luck hope yours mean ready as it stated

Ours is shorter it talks about the first part about U r under AP but not the part that concerns about the DVD lottery so I don't knw if it makes different can any body tell me if they have this shorter version or if it would make any different?

salam alaikum my fiance had the same experience my fiance had his interview on July 1st and he was asked to submit an affidavit birth certificate and told his case is under AP so after we submit the cea website still says AP anything new on your side did they contact you yet?

So when I check my fiancé status on CEA website it says AP as case status but when I read the massage it says only "Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days."

For us when they said wait 45 days to our sanetor inquiry it took them 8 business days to approved us so they may say 45 and could approve you a lot sooner so fingers cross it's time for you to get approved I hope one more thing if u haven't had congressional's inquiry u should consider it sure speed things up good luck

Congrats no news is better than that final word we are in AP in kenya nairobi and kind if crash which countery are u from if u don't mind I can't see ur flag and if they ask u to send more docs

so my fiance had his interview on july 1 and he got a yellow sheet 221g saying you r under AP in order to determent your eligibility

the CO said your case looks smooth and Ok but he was missing affidavit birth certificate so now am confused what does this mean

I called the DOS they told me the same thing saying he is under AP for the CO to determent has any body ever has the same experience

I also would like to know if the color of the 221g matter i read some where mostly Yellow means missing Doc?

his interview date was on Julay 1 @ 7:15AM he arrived 6AM and went thru the Security check till 740Am

while he got inside he took number and sit in the waiting area till like 9

he was called for one of the windows by a nice Kenyan Lady who asked him his documents all the DS affidavit of support, Etc and check than she asked if he was married now or before and his nationality than she picked up the Affidavit support and said Somalian Affidavit support is not recognized and YOu will be getting one from Kenya than she ask him to sit back down

in like 10 min he was called again for his actual interview by another nice American lady, the CO was smiling and didn't make him nervous at all she asked him only four questions

How long have you known your fiancee?

why didn't you get married in your country?

how old is your son?

can you show me pictures?

so he showed the three of us's pics and she said your son is very cute and looks like you

she didnt ask any ongoing relationship evidence just looked some of the pics

than she said go ahead and send us this missing DOC Affidavit of birth shouldn't take more than 2days to complete she even told him where and how to get it and she said tell your fiancee thanks bc everything looks organized and safe us a lot of time she also told him as of now you are under Administrative process and we soon will contact you with update but do send this DOC ASAP

my fiance was out by 10am and he said his interview was like a friendly chat nothing like what we expect but well I wish there was no AP

any way am about to call them today and ask them our status

Was that somali spouse under AP for that missing Affidavit BC tho? If so do knw how long he waited for an action. ? Yes he has his origin birth certificate and Somalian affidavit birth certificate but they said make an affidavit BC in Kenya since they don't recognized Somalia as an countery so he make one easlt sent and DHL showed it got there any got signed off and as soon as thw packet got digned off the CEA updated in like an hour and so so am starting to think maybe the CEA is sort of correct tool so now we r patiently waiting hope all goes smooth one more thing DOs said the same thing as of yesterday so am kind of confused and trying to be calm thanks for all of your infos

He was missing an affidavit of birth certificate could that be enough reason?

well even though after 24 hours the CEA page said from AP to "Ready" and DOS said its still AP so am confused now

I knw is unpredictable timing but the dos website says your ap can take several weeks hmm and then Said if u been approved during ur interview which we did your visa will be issue in two business days so now we are confused if they say that to all APs or ours could be they waiting that missing doc they ask us to mail and then get our visa withing 2days

Yes he is Somalian who live in Somalia he can enter Kenya without passport from Uganda with no probs like every other somalians but our concern is will the Embassy ask his enter visa or not because it seems hard to get the kenyan visa while there is no kenyan embassy functioning there

Hello my concern about my fiancée has interview on July 1 and medical 21 but our concern is now that he is traveling from Somalia which there is no kenya. Embassy located so we were wondering if he needs a Kenyan visa on his passport for the interview because he doesn't need visa to enter just worries us we may get delay on this small thing appreciate whoever take the time to enlighten us
