  1. On your contents page it'll be under 'further evidence of bona fide relationship' and you can just have all the pages under a tab there. Maybe even for that section include a cover page which outlines what each of them are.

    For example

    • sms log over select periods of our 3 year relationship
    • phone bills documenting contact over our relationship
    • etc, etc.

Then you'll have it all there.! ---Maybe even highlight dates to direct their attention to what you're trying to get them to see, the dates proving ongoing contact.

I had all these things along with our section of all our photos, boarding passes, apartment rent registration, proof of employment putting us in the same location for 2 years, and other junk I can't remember anymore.

Just make it idiot proof and very clear and it will be more than fine!

    Good luck!

  2. Wait so you're 7 months pregnant? Are you even allowed to fly at that stage?

Honestly, I believe you of course but I feel like you will absolutely have problems convincing them of your story. Especially with the dog too (5 weeks isn't really that long for a lot of people), it seems like you're there to overstay and adjust status. Just my honest opinion.

My husband and I lived in China while married, and when we left I went to the US on visa waiver for 3 months so I could help take our 2 cats (you need one adult per animal) and spend last moments with my husband before the visa wait.. Well, I was held in a little room and questioned for almost 3 hours because they believed it seemed like I was there to stay. It was very very stressful, easily the worst I've ever felt in my life.

I've seen boarder patrol shows where they've pulled up heavily pregnant women and barred them at point of entry. They said 'yeah, we find women doing that because it means they can automatically get a visa to stay' or something to that affect. Anyway I'm not sure I just worry for you going through that stress.

Good luck! I hope I'm wrong!

  3. I also didn't tell many people about our marriage. Even the ones I did tell thought he would be coming home with me. It's just too difficult ( and painful ) to keep explaining these things. We're planning another ceremony for family and friends when he finally arrives. A small beach wedding. OMG! I miss him so much.

Ps Does anyone use the viber app to communicate? It's the greatest thing. We just learned of it a few mos ago. U can call and text 4 free. ( u can't see each other though. U need Skype 4 that. ) everyone hang in there!

Or the iPhone app called 'Couple' is even better than Viber!

  4. From reading this forum for over 8 months I can conclude generally that lawyers are not necessary unless you've got a hard case, like one of you has a criminal record or if the beneficiary has ever overstayed a visa or similar issue.

Lawyers in fact will slow down the process. I've read many people on here who didn't find VJ.com until after they paid their lawyers, talk about how much they regretted it.

  5. They did not really 'phase them out'. They automated the I-94 so you get your info online instead of receiving a paper copy in your passport. > https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

Sure, sorry I thought it was obvious I was referring to OP's wife not receiving a hard copy of the I-94. Was giving my experience to reinforce that she was probably not mistaken in thinking she was never physically given the I-94.

The phrase 'phased out' was what the lawyer used. 'Phased out' is exactly what it is, as it started at a few points of entry first, then eventually all switched/will switch to this method.

  6. they are phasing out the I-94 so it's very possible she was not given one. When I was in phone contact with a lawyer (before I decided to NOT use one) he was asking for my I-94 and I couldn't find it anywhere! He was quite frustrated with me and dramatic that I MUST find it, until he remembered that I was right that I was SURE I had never received one. This was back in February. I'm not sure when your wife went through point of entry but this info might help you.

  7. In my opinion it certainly could be because you didn't include any pics, or it could be a simple spelling mistake or something!

You should be overjoyed that you got the RFE, it means they're ACTUALLY working on your file, and once you send in whatever they're asking for, it won't be long before approval!

  8. Jajaju. its so hard. I just break down and cry sometimes. The distance makes the relationship difficult.

Me too, I have a breakdown at least once a week. All seems so hopeless. I'm currently working a rubbish job well below my experience because no one would hire someone who's about to leave the country, and it's hard to hold on to my pride when there seems to be no end.

I regret to admit that today I took out my frustration on him, the one person who is hurting about this as much as I am! :(

Come on NOA you're killing us!
