The next oath ceremonies in San Diego are on August 24 and September 21, it should be any of them i guess.

How do you know about specific days??

Hi! It's my first time writing here on this topic. I started my journey 7 years ago and now waiting for my Oath Ceremony. ( last 4 years I spent on this site but in a different thread) At the same time, I know nearly nothing about bringing family members to US. I will definitely do a research, but if someone can guide me please, I will appreciate. What are my chances of bringing my sister to the US? She just turned 17. Do I need a lawyer (both of my GCs and Naturalization papers I did myself) ?? What is a time frame, I have read somewhere it can take up to 7-10 years, wich is ridiculous.

Done. I had my citizenship today in San Diego. I couldn't ask for a better experience. My officer was a young American man, he was very polite and made me feel relaxed. While siting in the waiting area I've seen other officers coming in/out and they were older and Philippino/ Vietnamese/ Mexican race. They looked very angry and people that were leaving their offices looked stressed. I am saying that just because I've got a feeling that these officers in a past probably also immigrated and now acting weird. Back to my experience.

15 minutes interview and I am waiting for my Oath Ceremony, the officer promised me the end of July. He was also very kind helping me with my petition of changing my first name. I know I am almost the last one in this thread getting citizenship, but still wanted to share my excitement with you.

Do you know whether your office provide the same day ceremony? You might be offered that if you don't change a name.

I am in the same boat here in San Diego. They are back logged . I called few weeks ago and was told they were processing applications filed up to January 5th. Last week a friend of mine who has fingerprints in January 4th just got the interview scheduled for mid June. I would think it should be another 2 weeks for any of us January filers in San Diego.

If you check the chart, I believe about 30 % of people are still waiting for the interview letter or inline info. I am one of them about 7 weeks after the fingerprints and no update at all. I don't think anybody knows how they process each application, but mostly I would say depends of the volume at the specific local office. I checked at USCIS site and my local office still processing applications from August of 2015, as I applied in January 2016, I have a long wait ahead of me. I was planning a trip this summer but I guess I will have to cancel those plans.

At the end, we will all reach there sooner or later.

Ok, finaly I am back. After two attempts my application is accepted. Please, someone delete my info from Dec filers, I am here now.

GC date: 10/19/2010 Sent my docs 01/20/2016 NOA dated 01/25/2016 field office. Field office Arizona

They sent me all the package back, and on the place where missing pages are they added orange papers with words "missing page"

As i mentioned they have to either approve or denied I912, they did niether. I have no kids, spouse, benefits, filed taxes, but I have fincial hardship and proof

P.S I think they usually have to notify eather i912 approved or denied, am I right?? But in my case it just ignored. Can't fing sny info online

Oh, you are right. I did not even think about it .... that they don't know I don't need last pages for interpreter. Now about payment: I submitted the form i912 along with my recent paystubs. I placed it on top of the application, but it came behind the N400 and other papers.

Now it says: The payment amount is incorrect, or has not been provided. Please resubmit the application package with the appropriate fees to the address listed below.

Looks like the did not even look at me i912, because I have a reall proof attaced to it.

What should I do with a payment?? I mean I can't pay, so I will just resubmit the packed with adding missing pages, what if my application get rejeted again?? Is it a big problem?? Or I can send it again, not now but later, cause I can't pay.

I am so disappointed, my application have got rejected because of missing pages. Pages 19-21 where translater should sign etc. I did the same with my bf application, and we had no problems. What should I do now? Just make a new folder and attach the green form on top??!! Also I applied fo Fee Waiver, and they just said that payment not provided
