I did similar. My fiance was in school for the past couple of years, and didn't need to file taxes for that time as he didn't have much income.
I took an employment letter and a few months of payslips. That's all. Proving current income was enough, they didn't even mention past income.

If you have been approved, forget your EAC number. It won't work for London.
Do you have a new number beginning with 'LND'? If not, you need to call up the US Department of State and ask them for it, or wait for London to mail you Packet 3.
Once you have the LND number, you can check your case status here: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?
If that says 'Ready' then you can phone Knightsbridge and book your medical.

Computer Sciences Corporation. They're the people who run the new visa/courier payment website.
I received a receipt for my courier payment. The system must only issue them when it feels like it, which doesn't surprise me from the problems people are having.

Mine just arrived, at about 8:55am. Had to show identification and sign. I used my driving licence.
I found this on the DX website: "ID can be a valid driving license, passport or debit/credit card but must be in the ticket holders name."
So she will be fine with a bank card.

I had my medical on the 9th July and until yesterday was feeling the same as you. We plan to wed in October but wanted time to plan it all first.
On Saturday I used the contact form on the embassy's website and asked why I hadn't heard anything yet and said that I wanted to be in the states soon. I got a reply yesterday asking if I could attend an interview today.
I'm not sure how you would approach explaining that you want to be there sooner now that you've told them November, but if you can think of something it might be worth contacting them.

So you mean he has sent the DS 156, but did not include photos?
If so, you have nothing to worry about. Take the photos along to the interview.

You don't need DS 230 part 2 at all.

Nothing in particular must be done by this date. As long as you have made some contact with the embassy by that date (e.g. Sent DS forms or had medical) the date will automatically be extended. If you do go over the date, you simply take a new notarised letter of intent from the petitioner to the interview. If you don't make any contact within the 4 months, I believe London will assume you're no longer applying for a visa.

    1. Yes send DS-230 part 1, DS-156, DS-156K and DS-157 to the Immigrant Visa Unit. Make sure to send 2 copies of DS-156 and DS-157.
    2. You don't send the items it asks for (birth certificate etc), you take those with you to your interview.
    3. Sign the DS-230 part 1 and DS 156, nothing else. The DS 156K you will sign at your interview.

4 months from the date of your approval. Should be written on your NOA2.
It doesn't really mean much if you go past it, as long as you have made contact with the embassy within the 4 months. Just take along an updated letter of intent from Petitioner to interview.

I just called DOS, the lady confirmed they have all my documents and are just waiting for an interview to be scheduled now. I didn't send DS 230 Part 2...
My CEAC hasn't updated for nearly 3 weeks, but she confirmed they have my DS 2001 which I sent last week.

I had a bit of a delay in sending the DS2001 as I was still waiting for the I134 docs. I sent it off at the beginning of this week, signed for yesterday. It probably won't even be read until next week now, but I put a wedding date of Sept 2nd, so I'm hoping for an interview date next month.
We actually plan to wed in October, but we have a lot to sort beforehand.
I'm sure you'll have your visa by October! I would guess your interview would be September at the latest, but then again, nothing can be certain in this process.
Edit: Just realised our NOA1 dates were the same!

You'll need to check the 2013 poverty guidelines for your household size. If it's just you and your fiance the amount will be $19,387.

Medical can be UK or US sized photos. I used UK.
And the DS 2001 and cover letter don't HAVE to be sent with the other DS forms. They are sent when you are ready for the interview.
