How does he like it?

So far he is doing great...he is ready to work though...I'm trying to figure out if his visa will work to start employment or if he needs his SS card/greencard first.

How sweet I am glad you guys are together! Sometimes its hard to believe its true. I am pretty sure he will need his SS card.

Yeah most of the flights i see have 2-3 hour layover. Sometimes a day or more. Sucks

No, he doesn't have his visa yet, hoping any day. He is picking it up in Santo Domingo. DLY119...I thought Jardines was perfect for a one night stay..It's very very close to the consulate..practicallly across the street. Free wifi there too.

I submitted ds260 last Sept 4 even if they already accepted my IV package.

so are u going to do ds 260?btw when did u submit the ds 230?is it already approved?im so confused also coz im just waiting to be case completein nvc i submitted my aos checklist aug 21 but my dd 230 already approved 1stwik of aug.i asknvc if im going to do ds260 they answered me no not now if i nid to they will email me.grrrrrr..

ya i would call about it..i called about mine and they said no need to do the ds260 because the ds230 was sent in and reviewed already before this..thank god..

I got an AOS checklist a while back that was for forgetting to put a "1" in a box that was right next to "Family Member 5", so I didn't see it since I'm only sponsoring one immigrant. So, had to print all 9 pages, refill it back out and send it right back. They received it Aug 19. NOW, today I find out that my DS 230 has a checklist because the Dominican has 2 types of birth certificates...a "short" and "long" version. We of course sent the wrong on...

Stay strong! I also had two checklist for NVC. Although it wasn't easy I managed to get through it and so will you.

Hana....did you get checklists on both the AOS or was it one on each packet...I've heard stories where they give you a checklist for one and you fix it then you get another one! I am praying that doesn't happen and that my one checklist on each packet is IT!! :-) Here's to a Speedy Checklist process for us all!
