They always start early when you're about to get case complete and they're always late when your waiting with cc in hand!

I don't think any of us are worried about missing November... (yet).
I think in k.dlg's case she just missed the 1st round which mostly went on 6/24-6/25 and had to wait 2 week for that 2nd round to start on 7/10. We're still waiting for the 1st November round... Rounds don't always start on the 24th and 10th. They like to keep us guessing because they look forward to speaking with us.

Naaah... I have a resident artist in the house. My wife does paintings, etchings, beadings and cabochons (when she's not teaching economics and international trade). We could collaborate on a "proverbial" line.
She actually prepared a small painting for me to post yesterday on this thread... Unfortunately we didn't get approved on the spot, so it has to wait.

I read yesterday that the average person spends 2 months of their life waiting on hold on the phone. I had to laugh because all of us here probably surpassed that average by a lot after going through this process!!

Ugh, that's awful! All that preparation just to have to give them something twice. I hope your AP is swift and the document review goes smoothly. Fingers crossed for you that Colorado will be quick with your request as well!

Honestly? There's no rhyme or reason. California has slowed down before and became the slowest service center while others sped up. I wouldn't rely on VJ estimates either. Look at timelines and signatures of people who filed at the same time you did to get a better estimate of when to expect the next step of the process. Take a peek in your monthly USCIS thread or NVC thread depending on where in the process you are.
Also, you may want to change your filing status from K1 to CR/IR-1.

No problem! I appreciated BOS_LHR and some other UK filers (as well as other countries!) sticking around, so I can pop in every now and then and try to give some advice.
Yeah, our CC and interview date assignment were exactly 2 weeks apart, and we were scheduled for an August interview in July. Try not to stress just yet.

Don't freak if you don't get a date til next month for November. I had to wait til July 10th for Round 2 after I got a CC in June bc I barely missed Round 1. Hopefully they're still doing 2 rounds.

I was just telling a friend a moment ago how strange it is to have nothing, literally nothing to be checking the status of anymore. I keep having the urge to check USCIS or USPS even though everything is done, it's like phantom limb syndrome!
