Well ... I FINALLY got a competant agent who told me right off the bat ... and now:

I did the whole "I was disconnected when I was transferred, can you please transfer me again?" Currently waiting now ...

When I called this morning, I got a really nice Tier 1 agent. He didn't read from any screens but just off the cuff let me know what it meant to be transferred to a local service center (since I was playing dumb). He then asked if I would like to be transferred to an agent who could tell me what service center I was transferred to. I said sure and he transferred me. I then did the call back and it said 47 minutes. It ended up only being 20 minutes before I got a call back !

We also got transffered yesterday... i hope we are also csc! Going to call them during my lunch break.... btw i work 5 miles away from csc.. i wish i could just go and approve all of our cases!! Lol .. so close yet so far!!! Hahah

I just heard from hubby, we went to California Call back came in 20-25 minutes rather than the 47 they quoted him

I've followed this thread since the beginning, and I can't even tell you how much VJ has helped me through six very difficult months of waiting. I moved to Algeria two months before we filed for immigration, after having met and lived with my husband in France. I was a student in Paris and he was, of all things, a fishmonger who sold me oysters at an outdoor market. He asked me if I wanted to get a drink with him, and I turned him down, only to come back an hour later and say yes. After five months of being inseparable, we got married in Paris! I then withdrew from my university to come to Algeria and be with him while we went through immigration. As I'm not authorized to work here, the months have felt like years. So that's our story.
I want nothing more than to see my fellow Sept filers transferred and approved! My husband says hello and good luck to everyone

I think if just few of us were working for USCIS, they would be in much better situation now and so would be members of VJ

The phone agents are not the actual people approving and stamping petitions. It's just like calling customer service at amazon to find out where my order is. By calling, it does not slow down the process of my order. The customer service agent is just that. They don't stop approving all petitions because someone is on the phone.
USCIS is not a mom and pop industry, it's a big government agency.

Hello all. Urbangirluk's hubby here. I'm hoping that we will be transferred on Monday - and not to the NSC !!! From what i've been told, they are slower than molasses !

I imagine a wall covered with all of our passport photos, and employees playing darts every morning to see whose lucky day it is!
