HI guys,
About the form G 325. I know that we need to fill them out. Both of us.
Well, my fiancé only has one form. ( he tried to call today but they were already close so we didn't get answer why we only have one form)
Well, I was thinking if we can do this?
1. He's going to scan the form, send to me by email and I'll fill them out and send it back to him?
2. OR I can download it anywhere. Print, scan and send it back to him with signature and date?
I don't know if G 325 are suppose to be unique form that we can't copy or that it is downloadable for beneficiary that is living abroad.
Spend some time on this page http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
It has the instructions and the links you need.
Make sure your fiance, the USC, also reads that so he understands the process. It take time, but it's a very important and worthwhile investment. If he doesn't pay attention to the details, you will continue to run into problems in the process.

Congrats to Oregon Bound who got their NOA2 3 days after their RFE reply was received, that's just awesome!!
Looks like CSC grabbed the November and December files again yesterday...there's even some January files, pretty crazy how they just skip around.
-
Congrats!! I always check Igor's list before jumping on the forum and saw your name there! Happy for you! That was a quick turnaround from your RFE reply! It's been a long wait, I feel your excitement!!
-
that could be, because I got two update text messages on the same day. I hope they did mail on 2nd May. Thank you.
Sadly, the notices are "generic" in that the first one say's the same as the second one, but the second notice is usually when it's mailed. Of course we never know with 100% certainty if they mailed it because there is no tracking number. I would pay extra to have a tracking number option. When I mailed my RFE reply, it cost me $19.95, and still took a few days Express because I am in Hawaii, but the cost was minimal for the reduced stress knowing I could track my letter and guaranteed delivery date.

I got RFE after little more than 6.5 months. "On May 2, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting evidence/information for this case to you or your representative. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the material requested. This case will be held in suspense until we either receive the evidence/information or the opportunity to submit it expires. A new processing period will begin when we receive your response. You or your representative will be notified by that office of a decision or if any further information or action is needed from you. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address"
It’s been more than 6 days I have not received notice. How long does USPS take to deliver the notice?
Does anybody have experience that how long does CSC take to process your evidence requested in RFE and approve the case?
Does it really start as a new case after you submit the REF?
I am so restless...
If you receive an RFE, there are usually two notices, the first one seem to be when they decide you are getting an RFE, and the second notice when they are mailing the notice. You will receive the hard copy in the mail, sometimes in just a few days, sometimes over a week or two later. When you send back the information you will receive another notice, informing you that it has been received and that your case is in review. Time for approval for NOA2 varies, again few days to weeks.
To limit the wait, be ready for the RFE. Perhaps, review your I129F packet to see what possibly the RFE could be about. In my case, I missed a question so it was a quick fix. In other cases, USCIS is asking for more "primary" evidence of meeting, this would mean providing passport stamps, airline boarding stubs, preferbly with date and names on them, ATM or credit card bills showing couple was together, etc.
I sent my response overnight so that it was guaranteed delivery and had tracking.

I read anywhere from 1 to 4 months for ours. I'm guessing that two is probably the average but does depend on the embassy.
Yes, I've seen people getting their interview in about 6 weeks from NOA2 and others much longer, but 2 months seems around average. Guess I should not have said minimum.
JD, praying that your RFE arrives soon.
-
I totally agree with you there, that is definitely how it should be
I've analyzed a lot of the recent RFE's on Igor's list and it looks like after RFE reply,it typically takes anywhere from 2-14 days but usually within about a week. Is that what you're seeing as well? Both ways, I'm would be pretty darn happy to receive my NOA2 even if it takes 2 weeks (May 23rd)
Yes, that is what I am seeing and I feel the same way as you. I'm happy that we shall see NOA2 soon. Need to save energy for the next step, another 2 months minimum!
After 8 days since our RFE response... NOA2, we got it!!!!!!!
We are so happy!!
Yes!!! Congrats!!

Sorry to hear that you haven't gotten your RFE yet, buddy! Maybe it's because of the distance? I am in Cali and got it on Day 9. Hang in there. The good news is that you can turn it around pretty quickly as soon as you receive it. So I got it yesterday, gathered all my evidence and sent it this morning overnight so they should be getting it tomorrow before noon
Thanks for the advice, Takeo! I wrote a very good RFE explanation, as well as a declaration from myself, dad, photocopies of my passport, front to back, joint bank statement, etc...Hopefully I hear back from them by next week.
Good luck to both of you!
Sounds great! I've been monitoring Igor's list and the recent NOA2s are being approved in just a few working days after receiving the RFE reply. Some have had their NOA2 approved just 2-4 days after CSC received the reply, that's exactly how it should be

May 6 here! We are all in the same boat! Let's pray for approvals this week!

I still can't fathom why I received an RFE, hired a lawyer who seemed to be pretty thorough, submitted things such as:
-10 photos, names of those in the photos, where the photos were taken and the month and year (not the exact date which may be the cause? Lawyers instructions told us to put this on the back of the photos)
-Copies of boarding passes for the flights
-Copies of all hotel, train and attraction receipts (translated if in Chinese)
-Copies of our passports, every page, which included the stamps from the country visited
-About 60 pages of Emails and chat messages
From what I read it may have been better to just taken screen captures of the Emails and chats showing how many pages there were? We use QQ on a daily basis to communicate and we have over 3,000 pages of chat history. The audio/video call logs are a bit more difficult to capture, haven't found a good way to extract that info from the program.
Hope I get the hard copy soon, driving me crazy trying to think of what we may have missed.
Sorry to hear that you have not received your hard copy yet. I have heard of others waiting 10 days or so, so hopefully you get it in in the next day or two.
Sound like you had a decent amount of primary evidence of meeting, which is what they are really interested in. Passport stamps, if clear and legible, is probably one of the best evidence. Boarding passes and hotel receipts with your name on it would also be strong, without name, not as strong. Copies of your ATM or credit card transactions in her country, proves you were there. The stuff like emails and chats are secondary evidence and probably more important for the next stage of showing you had an on-going relationship. For now, you need to prove you met in person.
As I stated earlier, my mistake was missing a question, quickly found that when I went over my I129F, such a stupid mistake. Hang in there!
-
Takeo, thanks for all the tips, buddy!
I will definitely get them the passport stamps, do you think I should photocopy the whole passport so they know it's me? Or just the pages with the stamps? I also just remembered that we opened a joint Lebanese bank account so I told my fiance to get me dated records of that. Oh and one last question, for the dated photos, do you recommend that I develop them (like at wal mart) or is it fine to include them in a printed word document or PDF?
I copied my fiancee's entire passport. It was a pain, but I wanted to be thorough. Make sure the copies are clear enough so they can read the stamps especially with you going there or her coming here. You may even want to put post-its if there are other country stamps and just highlight the ones they need to see.
I have a bank account with my fiancee also. She had to be here in Hawaii to sign and open a joint account. I will use it for the embassy packet to show on-going relationship.
People say the photos must be date stamped, but in todays age, lots of photos are taken without date stamps. I didn't plan on getting engaged and married, so many of our photos do not have the date stamp. The pics I submitted, I printed out at Wallgreens, and then wrote on the back who is in the picture, city and state of where we were, and date. It's more work, but felt it was worth it...after all, you've waited this long.
Lastly, don't forget to make two copies of everything. One copy you will eventually send to your fiancee, the other copy you will hold on to, just in case you need to refer to your packet.

Yeah, tell me about it! The wait is pretty nerve-racking, I know...However, I do have some good news....I just received my RFE this morning (Day 8 I guess) so yours shouldn't be too far away
I guess they wanted evidence that "Petitioner and beneficiary have met in person". The 2 main things are: "Circumstances of Meeting" (evidence that we met to establish a relationship) AND "Last Personal Meeting".
I guess our 20+ photos including Engagement Ceremony photos did not do the trick. Apparently, the following does not constitute as evidence of meeting: disc, videos, emails, letters, phone bills, greeting, an itinerary, undated boarding passes and undated photos.
Now that I think about it all the photos were undated, so I think that's probably it! Also I included all my itineraries as proof that I visited Lebanon. I guess I will need to photocopy my passport to show the different time stamps on entry and exit of the country. I will overnight it tomorrow with all the required evidence and hopefully that should suffice.
Don't worry, you should receive it in the next day or so probably
Good luck on your journey my friend!
Glad you got the hard copy. You submitted a lot of evidence, but it seems they are very particular about having primary evidence. I think the strongest is the passport stamps. Also strong is airline boarding stubs with name and dates on them. I'm guessing photos could be anyone in them, so that is why they are secondary evidence, even if there are dates on them. If you have any reciepts, like hotel reciepts, or tours or things your purchased when visiting your fiancee, send it. ATM or credit card bills showing charges in your Fiancee's country, send it. Good luck!!!

Congratulations!!!

I got a text this afternoon that CSC received my RFE reply today, 5/6. I mailed it Express so they better have it
. Igor's list is full of RFEs, that's a very good sign for many of us who have been waiting a long time for CSC. Tomorrow makes my 9 months from NOA1.

Just logged in now...and approved!!
We mailed our RFE on April 29. They received it and updated it in the system on May 2, and today, as of about 30 minutes ago, we've been approved! CSC is FINALLY working again. After filing in July 2012 and being depressed and hopeless for months, 9 1/2 months later we are finally approved!!!!! I've refreshed the page about 5 times because I just can't believe it.
Best of luck to everyone!! I hope you all hear soon!
Congrats!!! I feel your happiness! I read your post earlier today, then I just checked Igor's list and saw your name up there before I checked this thread!!

When they request further evidence about meeting in person within the two years prior to submitting the petition, keep in mind they are looking for evidence BEFORE the petition was submitted. Anything after, whether visits, plane ticket stubs, photos, etc. does not count. So going to your doctor now I don't think would be very helpful.
I ran into a similar problem as you and received a RFE this month for proof of meeting in person within two years prior to the application filing. I met my fiance in Spain when I was there working. He is from France and was also in Spain working at the time. Because he is from the European Union, he didn't get a stamp or need a visa to be there like I did or to travel between countries in the European Union. With my original petition package I sent in photos (non-timestamped) and copies of email itineraries of trips we took together by plane and copies of hostel reservations. We did not have any boarding passes of those trips, or of our travel to/from Spain. We didn't save them and like most people threw them away after our trips because at that time we were not thinking of getting married/not thinking into the future that maybe some day those might be needed/etc. I thought that the evidence I sent would be enough, but of course it wasn't. For primary evidence, the itineraries weren't enough without our boarding passes and entrance/exit stamps. Also, they said for secondary evidence, it had to be time-stamped photos, so ours didn't count.
So in my RFE reply that I just mailed off, I included a copy of my visa page, copy of my foreign resident ID in Spain, copy of my entrance stamps (which were actually from another country because that is where I entered the European Union). I also included a copy of my letter of employment from the Spanish government and the translation and signed translation certificatation. For my fiance it was more difficult. I included a copy of his letter offering him employment and translation and also a copy of his rent contract and translation. I sent in a document from the police station he received after registering his presence, but because he is from the European Union, of course he didn't receive an ID card like me. I wrote a long letter explaining all of those details about why he didn't have a stamp and I did, etc. Hopefully it will be enough.
Wow! What a challenging RFE. And this is why people who get easy RFEs should be grateful. Sounds like you did a good job with providing as much evidence you could, please keep us updated! Wishing you the best!

I also got RFE on 4/27/2013 they want the letter of intent and prove that we meet. Although I send a copy of passport stamp, so now wait for man to sent it from Uganda to me. He could write then through email but I was scare so I said no . I had him fedx to me which arm and leg. Still waiting the arrival. I wait six month and now this. I miss my man so much I cry. There is nothing can do put wait. I feel like I am ask my parents the ok to marry ,but is not my family,
So you are waiting for your letter of intent to marry from your fiancee. What else are you submitting as primary evidence? What else can you submit to show you met your fiancee in person? Do you have boarding pass stubs, hotel reciepts, ATM withdrawals from Uganda on your account? These stressful times is hard, but it will make you a stronger person. Getting the RFE is actually a good thing, means you will be approved soon!

congrats on your aproval!!!and takeo thanks for your advice im going to email copies of the trasanctions i have done with me being in tj ,im triying to put everything together asap, but i dont want to send a weak package, i also called my congressman but an assistant answered he said he emailed the uscis so his waiting for the response , im just going to wait until tomorrow to see what they say, if i dont hear an answer i will just send my package hopin gits enough,,,oh btw do we need to use the envelope they send us , becuase its a small one my pictures are not gonna fit there
I would make your response as strong as possible. Remember, primary evidence is key. You need to have evidence to show you have met, so proof that you have been in TJ will support this. Then, back it up with more secondary evidence, like the pictures. They are not asking to show an "ongoing" relationship, that will be for your interview, just proof of meeting in person. My Senator's office has not been too helpful, but others have had some luck. I put the small envelope in a bigger Express Mail envelope because I wanted to track it and have no more delays, which reminds me, it should of arrived by 3:00 today, so I need to check. Cost $19.95, but was worth it knowing it was going their the fastest, although there is no overnight from Hawaii. BTW, don't forget to make copies of everything you send. Include this with the copies of your first packet. When you get the NOA2, you will send this copy to your fiancee and keep a copy for yourself.

Just got an email that says our petition has been approved!!!
Awesome! Congrats!!! I hope CSC is just as efficient! Igor's list for CSC NOA2s show recent approvals for those who had RFEs so things are looking good for those who responded to their RFEs!!

First RFE notice 04/25
Second (and third) RFE notice on 04/30
No hard copy yet! Just checked the mail today.
This is causing my fiancee some serious stress. First the long delays with CSC, then the RFE, and now this. Dreading having to tell her that it did not come in the mail again.
My hard copy took 6 mailing days from the second email notice, but I live in Hawaii so mail from Continental US is a bit slower to get here. Hope you get yours by tomorrow. The stress definitely tests the strength of our relationships. Hang in there.
-
went i sent my packet i send out emails of when we first started talking and pictures of our 6 year relationship from begining to present, on the RFE they want as primary evidence airline tickets stubs , passport stamps of our last meeting , as secondary they want pictures, im thinking im just going to write a letter and get it notarized in tj stating that i was in tj mexico and that i dont have an airline ticket stubs or passport stamps because were right on the border next to each other and just send in more pictures hopefully it will be enough,,i was also thinkin on going to the doctors over thhere so i can send in my doctors note with m name in it they would know its from tj
From what you shared, it seems like the emails and pictures, which are "secondary" evidence, was not enough to prove to them that you met in person. Is there any other ways you can prove you were in TJ? Do you have credit card statements or ATM statements that show a transaction in TJ? What about receipts from a hotel? Any other types of receipts? Anything to show you were in TJ. I would also submit more pictures from various visits, and make sure you list the date, who is in the pictures, and where the pictures were taken. Be specific as you can. I would explain in a letter that you don't have the passport stamps or airline tickets because of your boarder crossing.

ok so i receives my hard copy of the rfe on friday may 3rd they want picture evidence and stubs that we have met in person for the last two years..ok soo i think this is dumb i guess the pictures that i sent on my 1st packet of us with our 2 year old son wasnt enough ill just have to sent out more ,,,and and just hope for the best
What primary and secondary evidence did you send with I129F and what exactly are they asking for in RFE? If others know exactly, they will be able to give you advice! Did you submit copies of passport stamps?

As suspected, I missed section C question #2.

Don't forget to make copies of everything you send. Actually 2 copies is good, one for USC and one for you. After you receive NOA2, your fiancee should send you the copy of the packet and he will have a copy also for reference. Good for you for being so detailed.
You might want so summarize again what is being provided to see if the members here can give you any more advice. Everyone wants to help and see your RFE appoved to NOA2!
