Hi guys,

It was my interview in London yesterday and I was given an approval :dance:

Eric and I are over the moon but I have to be honest and say it was very tough for me emotionally and Im feeling totally exhausted now instead of the elation I expected to have.

The lady that interviewed me was lovely but did ask some tough personal questions which I hadn't expected.

I want to write a review but don't want to frighten folk so am unsure what to do as I know we all read reviews and try and relate our own journeys to them.

Anyway approval given,just need the visa to arrive quickly now!!!!!

So for IR1/CR1, the spouse cant bring in additional evidence expect for the ones that was original submitted during the initial I-130?

Ask to speak with an Immigration officer though they are approving cases slowly but i am sure they will get to you

I am the husband. I will discuss the issue with my tax preparer and 2 dependents are my relations which he stated where ok to use. I will resolve the issue.

Yea and i wonder how my tax preparer missed that part.. time to get big hammer on someone's head.

They are my relations not my kids, it is allowed to use dependents that not your kids which qualify me to file as Head of household

I explained the situation and he kept on saying that since my wife dont have SSN then i cant file with her and i cant file as married so what i ended up doing was file as head of household using 2 dependents that are my relations but not my kids.

What else proofs that you are a US Citizen beside your US Passport?

I am also interested to know -- do we need to submit stuff like life insurance becuase right now i have apartment lease and utility bills(gas & electricity) showing my wife's name but i dont if i need to also get a life insurance

Yea-- I will have all those information ready-

Saylin- I think i prefer certified copy of the document i don't know how to get that in Nigeria but i am kinda reluctant to mail original documents to them

So for the IV Package the required documents says original birth and marriage certificate.. wow, they need the original one

Now can send the AOS and IV Package at the same time ?
