Almost time for us to go back home and reunite with our loved ones . Can't wait !! Have you packed up your luggage yet ?
-
Finally got the VISA !!!! WOOHOO THANKS GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Hi Leizz, what time did they deliver your VISA last time ? Also, how many days from your interview did you receive your VISA ? I just want to plan my time off accordingly to wait for the VISA. Thanks.
-
Finally found some time to post the review of the Singapore Consulate on my profile. Hope you guys find it useful .
-
Hi Leizz, I don't know if I had asked you this question before. Do you know if the petitioner is allowed to attend the interview with the spouse or not ? Thanks.
-
Have you received your visa yet ?

Sorry to hear that. You can tell your husband to find a joint sponsor in the US, could be his family member or his friend, filing out the I-864, attach tax transcript, employment letter, latest 6 month paycheck and express mail the whole things to the US Embassy. I am sure you can get this solved within 1 month if you hurry up.

Hi arriyan , did they ask you anything else ? Did they ask you to show anything ? How was your interview results ?
-
If I was you, I will probably fly out of Singapore tomorrow. The haze problem is getting worse now.
-
How was your interview ?
-
Counting down the day to my interview. I am so sick of Singapore and this stupid haze. It makes me and my wife sick .
-
Looks like your interview will come soon. Have you prepared for it yet ? What do you plan on bringing to your interview ?
-
Hi Leizz, so sorry for bothering you again. Could you please let us know what did you bring to your interview ? If you had any guide of what to bring to the interview, could you please kindly share with us ? Thank you so much .

I think if you submitted your certified copies, then you need to bring originals. If you submitted originals, you need to bring a copies of what you submitted so that you can ask for them back at the end of the interviews. Based on what I have heard so far, you need to swap the copies with the originals so that they can put in your files.

I remember I sent them my certified true copy of our marriage cert and birth cert but then they gave it back to me during the interview.. They didnt ask for a copy from me.. Maybe they photocopied it there before they gave it to me... But during the interview, I brought a copy (just to be sure) and they didnt even ask for it.. They returned mine and thats all... =)

Hi Leizz, I would really appreciate if you could help me clarify two things (that I am still confused about). Did your husband attend the interview with you or do you know if they allow the USC to attend the interview with the benef. ? Also, from what you wrote on your timeline, it looks like they will mail your passport with the VISA to your home right ? Do you have any option for picking it up yourself ? Did they give your an estimated delivery date (I plan on taking 1 day off from work to...

Hi Leizz, what did you bring to your medical exam ? I only bring my wife's interview appointment letter, passport-sized photo and her passport. Is that enough ? My wife lost her immunization record so I guess we have to redo all the vaccinations.

That's right! For two weeks I wasn't able to lie at my left side everynight I sleep because it's just too painful and I was cursing everybody that was tapping me on my Left arm for the same reason! Seriously, I dont know how painful all the other vaccines are, but that Tetanus is really something! ;D

I got the interview date on July 19th but I plan on having my medical exam done on June 21st. Do you think if it's early ? Should we change it to June 28th ? Thanks. , kinda confused, don't know what to do....

Actually we have been looking around Singapore for some house to buy and it's crazily expensive. An old and dirty HDB can go for 400-500k. Gimme a break. For that money, I can buy a nice landed house in my city in US. Not to mention that recently Singapore has become so crowded. It's not as nice and it's used to be. The tipping point is that my house owner told me that my rent will increase by 200+ at the end of my contract (which will be the end of this September). That's so...

I got my interview scheduled !!! Woo hoo !!!
-
Did they send the Packet 4 to you by email or by normal mail ? How long did you wait from case completion till you receive the package ? Thanks .
-
Have you had your medical examination yet ? Do you have to schedule your visit or can you just do a walk-in ?
-
Hi Leizz, did the doctor office give you the option to pick up the medical results and present it to the US Consulate during the interview ? Or did they just tell you that you cannot pick it up and they have to send it directly to the US Consulate ? Thanks.

I think the Consulate in Singapore is not too bad. I have read the review and it's quite ok, not as strict as the one in HCM City or Manila though. Anyway, just be confident and answer all the questions and you should be ok .
I haven't received my interview schedule yet so I still haven't gotten around to doing interview mockup yet. I will probably do that a couple of weeks before the interview.
