They are really bad about responding to emails. I always email twice a week and in the subject line I type SECOND REQUEST along with my hubby's case number. That usually gets their attention...

Hubby had his medical on 12/4/14! He said that he had to travel to a different center for each test. He has his results and will take it the medical examiner in the morning. He said that everything went well.
Please keep us in prayer...

Yeah, we already sent the original. I think they're doing all this because 1. few people get divorced in my husband's country. It's more common to just get another wife if you're tired of the first one lol. and 2. even fewer people actually have their divorce recorded on paper. So I already knew that they would probably want to look into that document. I just thought maybe they would do that before the interview. But I should have known... Dakar is slow at everything... they even tried to call my husband and push his interview out to November 13th, no reason given. I emailed them to get it changed back to this week, but now I have the whole picture. I think they're behind in processing everything and just need time to catch up and get to my husband's case.

What do you mean? Your husband called and they didn't give him CC? If so call again I think they have a bunch of idiots there that just have no clue. If it changed from Paid to N/A you have your CC so he needs to call again and speak to another person right away.

So I just found this app called "text free" about 2 months ago. it requires videos watching or game downloads, that can be immediately deleted after launching, for credited, but it work so far with no money needed. I Hope if helps for everyone on here that need help.

I'm not in holiday mode but they are I'm sure. Not updated for me at least I'm sure it will be a while. You would think they would have a better way of keeping files so they can help those of us who have been waiting forever instead of using the excuse we can't go looking for it we get thousands in a day. Excuse after excuse they make me sick. See I'm not always positive.

Data point: Got CC today (20 Nov) and our last scan date was 22 Sep - an extra 60 days of waiting as they raised a checklist to see a payslip for a job even though we're qualifying on assets alone. Still, at least it's over - we've been hanging with the NVC crowd since April.

I forgot to write this, anyone who has a changed of address should make sure he or she asked the officer at the POE to check their address on the database to be sure its the correct one. My husband asked this and the stupid USCIS hasnt changed it despite the fact that i changed the address using the AR-1 on their website. But luckily for him the officer changed it at the point of entry and fingerprinted him . then he was taken inside by this same officer into the secondary office where he just entered and signed and his passport was stamped. that is all.

My husband arrived yesterday night. i still can't believe he is here. wow am very happy. he told me that he spent only 10 minutes at the point of entry, he showed them the envelope and he was processed immediately and was told to expect the SSN in the mail and the 10 years between 30 - 45 days.. But we will go to the SSN office next week to apply for one. But nevertheless i want to enjoy my time with my husband. My mom loves him so much and couldn't let go after we pick him up at the airport. We are now on our way to watch a football game.... I'm very happy

Just got the courier email and my visa is due to be delivered on Monday

POE - Done!!! at Douglas (Peace Arch) US-Canada Border Crossing in Blaine, WA!
After 45 minutes, I'm finally a permanent resident of the USA!
My immigration journey has finally come to an end after 13 months.
I'll post my POE experience later.
We rented a car and drove from Vancouver (Canada) to Seattle to move our moving boxes.
But, I'm not in the US now since I had to come back to Canada to return the rental car!
I will finally move to the US for good tomorrow!

I don't know what it was about your post but I am really crying. I just think it is the friendships and companionship that we have all shared through this journey - for some it has been longer than others. Mine will end, hopefully just after 15 months while for others it is and will be so much longer.
I wish everybody whom I have come into contact here on VJ to move on with your lives. Let's not be bitter about what has happened but rather go and celebrate our marriages, families and the life that we will all have together.
I don't know how I could have got through this without Visa Journey. Some days it was all I had to keep me sane, just knowing that there are so many others in the same boat.

I'm flying to Montreal (from Vancouver, Canada) today since my interview is tomorrow! :dance:
It's crazy to think that I'm flying coast to coast (5 hours and 30 minutes) for a 10-minute interview!
I'll have to use my cell phone to check Visa Journey and Facebook since I won't have my laptop with me!
I don't even know how to insert images using my cell phone! That's no fun!
Some people have asked me, "Are you ready for the interview?"
Well, I'm more than ready since I've waited for 13 months!
Actually, who would not be ready after 13 months?
Anyway, I have this to say! Fingers crossed for myself!
I'll say some jokes during the interview if the CO is friendly and chatty (like me)!

Hello, azzein, no scan date package 1V was september 11.
( AOS package was reviewed since september, i did not send package toguether).
JUST CALLED AT NVC IN THE MORNING AND YESSS , CASE COMPLETED YESTERDAY.

I have been ready for the interview for MONTHS since this immigration process has been taking forever!
I'm not nervous at all! I'll make sure to tell the CO (Consular Officer) jokes during the interview!

I just wanted to thank everyone on the forum for their help. My expedite request for my wife's case has been approved and the NVC has sent everything to the Embassy.

You really need to call and ask them to be really sure or have your husband call. Please let us know what happens, I have seen this before and it works out in the end but is very stressful while it's going on.
Oh and to the thread! Now just relax we are here to hold your hand through this madness.

I dont understand why people get so sensitive about stuff that people post like checking in and all that, or this person that said that all that estimate cc was bs, as far as I know this is a free portal/community, we are all already dealing with a lot, they need to relax and love that people going thru the same share their feelings, ups and downs, like me, me tongue still hurts hahaha

Oh My! I cannot believe what just happened a few minutes ago. My wife calls me and says she's just received an email from the NVC. My heart stops. Our AOS checklist scan date is 9/23 so I knew something would be coming relatively soon, but it still felt unexpected and struck me like lightning. I told her to forward it and I'd call her right back. She's not the best reader of English.
The seconds were like hours as I waited for the phone to "bing" a new email. It bings...I open it...and it's an NVCInquiry replying to my wife's autoreply. She had accidentally left that on when she had received the AOS checklist 60-day letter back in September. Seriously. What a let down
We were speechless on the phone for a moment. Stunned really. Then we laughed about it for quite a while. I'm just hoping we are on track to here something in the next couple of weeks.
Would you think an autoreply to the asknvc.com would mess with any dates do you? Docs go to a completely different email.
I post this story here as I don't think anyone else I know would understand
