this is going to sound a little harsh, so i apologize in advance. It proves that you're pregnant. It doesnt mean the peitioner is the father etc... You can send it, but it's useless information about your relationship (like ring reciepts etc.. ) Sending quality evidence such as proof you've spent quanties of time together (photos especially with family, boarding passes, etc..); evidence that you spend regular time talking and communicating, and finally send along any financial co-mingling if possible or naming of each other as beneficiaries on documents. An ultrasound has no weight, rather like affidavits. I do wish you the best of luck and I am truly sorry if it sounds mean. I am not trying to omply anything, just trying to explain the view of an outside person who likely doesnt care about you, or me, or anyone on this board. I do hope you have a safe and wonderful pregnancy.

I think you just need the copies/originals you sent to NVC before. Originals when applicable (1-846, taxes), and copies of birth certificate/passport etc.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how we've been preparing.

We were wondering about this same issue and decided to follow the NVC instructions and sent it all in one package under one cover sheet. Let's hope it works out!

Maribe1P, we're at 81 days at CSC... We can see our case online but it's not helping at all . Lots of patience to everyone!

We're still waiting for NOA2 too, although our file is at CSC and filed from abroad . And VJ statistics show CSC to be processing I-130s from Oct 24... So just luck.

When do you actually need the hardcopy of your NOA1? I have read here how many couples have not received either one of their NOAs by mail due to unreliable postal services, but still gone through the process successfully.

Well this is interesting, our Noa1 was dated on Oct 14, but now it appears as Oct 16 online. Hmmmm.

Yep, it's hard to think it would be necessary to receive the hard copy. It didn't really contain any special information when compared to the email notification.

Our status also was available immediately after NOA1 email. Hasn't changed though, status is still initial review...
We also received NOA1 hardcopy this week, it arrived in about a week. Not bad.

We'll have to see about that. There have been fast approvals recently, but you never know since the auto-expedite is not an official rule, only an unofficial, inconsistent practice. However, let's hope everyone posting in this topic gets a speedy process!
We'd like to be able to move to the US next summer, since our eldest child will be starting school next fall. This may or may not happen, but mostly it will not depend on us, so we'll just have to be patient and adjust the plan if needed.
