I just got to Dallas, TX this Monday, it depends how many people there is: There's a line for residents, one for US citizens and another one for visas ( get in line with the one for the visas) as soon as they see you are a K1 or K2 they will send you somewhere else and it really depends how many people there is. It took me about an hour and fifteen minutes becasue there was alot of people there from different countries so if you have to take another flight let the people from immigration know that's what this lady did. Dallas was my destination so I had to wait till they checked my papers. Good Luck and many blessings to you nd your fiancee!

eljerryxp, you can see my timeline, we filed in January, we got our NOA2 in July 2nd so it took us 8 months till my interview.

Michele 1003, I came back the same day of my interview, I didn't want to wait cause I wanted to start packing while my visa arrives but if you wait there you will get it in 2 days.

My visa was approved yesterday, the lady that interviewed me just asked this questions:
When did you meet your fiancee?
When was the first time you saw him?
Where does your fiancee work?
How many kids does he have?
What are the kid's names?
Where does he live?
She didn't asked me for any evidence at all....(wooow, I had a bunch of it)
After the questions, she was typing something, then she asked my kids their age.
After she finished typing she smiled and said Welcome to the United States, your visa is approved and you will
get it in 5 days, then she gave me a green paper, that said it was approved and the instructions to track it from DHL......GOD is so awesome. I feel relief, well for now we're finished with the first and more stressful step.
Thank you VJ friends and good luck to all of you!!

I would appreciate it if you could let me know. Thanks alot!

I've read that we don't need vaccinations for the K1, but it will be a good idea to take the ones you need before the medical exam and yes they are cheaper if you take them in the Centro de Salud....!!

Hi, here's my question....
Juarez Consulate received my petition for K1-K2 on July 26, do you know if I need the invitation letter to make an appointment for my interview? ( I know I also need it for our medical exams).
