@Tony23 I'm also still waiting. I applied for citizenship in January, so maybe that has to do with it.

My case has been in their hands for 653 days. 66 days ago it got the same transfer notice to another office, which ended up being in Missouri. I live in Seattle...

I called a couple of weeks ago to see what's up, and the officer just told me that cases get moved there when there's some extra check that needs to be done with it, but he couldn't tell me what it was. He told me it shouldn't go more than 6 months in that office, and that I should definitely call back if that amount of time passes.

Did your wife apply for citizenship?

    no  just the ROC

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On July 5, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number  to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by August 4, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

    Your Case Status: Initial Review

On July 5, 2018, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number , to another USCIS office.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators. If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.

Either it goes into the new resident's mailbox and you ask for the card from them, or the mailman will see a different name on the box, take it back to the post office and since you already know it was meant to arrive that day, you can contact the post office so you can manually retrieve the mail piece before it goes back to USPS.

<—-Postal Manager.  Imformed delivery only images 1st class letters only.

Hi guys NOA Sep 20, 2016. I called USCIS this morning and spoke to tier 2 officer who informed me that my case was approved from Oct 23, 2017. He says normally it should take 30 for me to receive the greencard but i should give it 60 days because they have some issues with creating the card in the specified time frame. I will wait i am happy, tomorrow is my birthday so that is great news to hear.

  10. Evening everyone.  Wife is a September 2016 Filer   Has anyone received their card with a tracking number and case still says recieved sep 2016?  Reason is I got a message today saying I  have a priority envelope being sent from Texas   I get notifications when mail and parcels are sent to my address.   I actually work for the PO and I can see the price weight and address by the tracking number.  Origin is Indiana but was processed and accepted in Texas

  11. lets just say I got a few calls from immigration informing me that my case was processed and that there was no need for me to email the people at the top. That if I needed to get a hold of them to contact the 1800 number. I said well I have a few times and got nowhere. They told me stuff I already no. And said I was in my every right to email them directly since I also have a .gov email

I had sent my emails thru work with a read receipt to the Main people of uscis and they did read my emails because I got the notifications that they did. The calls came from DC and they asked for me personally to inform me that they had process my wife AOS and if I had anymore questions to call them back. I responded I think I will contact directly thru email and they said I'm not allowed to contact them. And i said why? I can access them thru work emails And I just heard silence and she brushed me off.
