YAY!!! Just checked today for 10 year Green Card status.
On June 24, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC1726600081, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
We mailed request on June 20, 2017 and it was filed on July 10, 2017. Why the date is a Sunday, I know not why. But when the card gets here, I will post here. We are so happy!

LAST ENTRY!!! Both of us had tears at the airport. I met her with roses. We are home now. And she is not chastising me for my messy house! We are very happy!
-
She has taken off from Incheon. Next stop, Washington-Dulles!
-
She has landed in Incheon!
-
She is in the air! On her way to Incheon!

She just YM'd me and is in the Korean Air Lounge, so she made it through Manila airport security. This was the last place i was worried about and she takes off at 12:30! YAHOO!!!

Good luck and may God bless you!

Thursday October 3rd, Manila-Aquino to Seoul-Incheon to Washington-Dulles. I went to Dulles on Saturday and purchased Korean Air tickets for her in person, and they were $900.00 cheaper than online (Prestige Sleeper Seat). I think they are the only Airline that adheres to the law that you can't buy one-way tickets out of the Philippines from anywhere but in the Philippines. You can get around it by going to the Airport in person and giving them all of the information. They then make an electronic purchase for you in Manila. They called her on her cell last evening and emailed the E-Ticket shortly thereafter.
Korean Air is GREAT! She will be so surprised when they lead her to her seat!

I am glad to hear this. We did everything by the book and I wondered about bribery throughout the entire process. We are finally ten days away from being together again and we are sooooooo happy! Best of luck and God bless everyone.

Thanks for all the replies. I really wanted to fly her on Korean Air because there is only one stop and a short four hour layover in Seoul-Incheon. She can take a shower there. Then the long 14 hour flight to Dulles. I flew that route last year and Korean Prestige is the only way to go. I will drive out to Dulles this weekend to their corporate office and speak to them in person. Will advise...

I am trying to purchase my fiancee's one-way ticket to come here, but on the airline's website,
"According to Philippines law, all flight tickets for flights departing from the Philippines cannot be purchased from any region other than the Philippines."
I called Korean Air and the woman said that unless she has her "Green Card" we have to buy her a round-trip ticket.
BTW, she has her Fiancee Visa and CFO sticker. Can anyone offer me some advice?

CFO isn't really a bear unless they smell "fear", the timid seem to get grilled more then those with a more self-confident attitude.
There is a link below this post that has a CFO section, maybe it will be helpful.
Thank you. This is really helpful. Take care and best of luck to all.

Congrats!!
And for Susana - Welcome to America!
Safe Travels
How bad was the counciling session? We have her bringing copies of everything. Is it just a formality or is it difficult?
Thank you.

My Susana's visa and passport was delivered to her house yesterday! We are so happy. Now she just needs to take the counciling seminar and we can purchase her plane tickets! God bless everyone for their support through this very long process. I pray that everyone else has their dream come true like ours did.

We had the same interview date. Checked my acct on CEAC,..
IssuedApplication ID or Case Number: MNL2013.................. 01 MNL
Case Creation Date: 24-Jun-2013
Status Updated Date: 12-Jul-2013
I was thinking case creation date should be the interview date.( though i'm not sure with this). Anyway sometimes mix-up in the system is normal. The good thing is they keep updating your case. Did you try to call embassy to know the real status? I went to AP for 1 day and then ISSUED the next day. Hoping for your visa issuance soon!!!!
Thank you. Our status changed to "Issued" today so we are very happy. Thanks and God bless you!
-
CONGRATS! HOW LONG WERE U PUT ON AP?
Since June 24. Then on August 23, it changed to Ready. On August 26, back to AP. Fianlly on August 28, Issued. They should be more clear on the meaning of these statuses...uh statusi? After all, we are doing this the legal way. Thanks for the congrats!
-
Thanks to all. God bless and good luck to everyone!
-
It has been a long, long process since we started this last October 19th, but we are finally in "Issued" status. Hip, hip, hooray!
In the Philippines I believe she has to take a seminar before she can leave for the U.S. Does anyone know how she accomplishes this?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
