  2. Congrats on the case complete! smile.png Did they give you the interview date yet? I don't think it will make any difference though. Wish you guys all the best bro! Keep us posted on how it goes.

Thanks JBoss, don't have interview date yet, NVC told me there is some chance I can get September date, hoping to get email in the coming week.

There talk with yiu is really limited and it doesn't make any difference

Save your time money and headeach you will realize if you do end up going its not recommended. .. see the previous discussions about this.

The only difference it will make is that you'll give her plenty of moral support. But in terms of the interview,no-your presence isn't required. All the best!

I was thinking my going will also act as an evidence of bonafide marriage even if they don't ask me any questions and so might help avoid any further delays or worse long APs

  3. Thankfully no checklists! Case Complete dancin5hr.gif

I called this morning and was told my case is complete and I am in interview queue, thanks everyone for all the useful information specially saylin for all the links. Few questions:

    1. Is a september interview for my wife very likely? or it could be october?

    2. Do we have to wait for some notification before getting medical done or we should just get it done now?

    3. I am confused if I should go with my wife to the interview or not? is that even allowed? would it help? If it would help in any way I would definitely go but if it doesn't make a difference I would rather go when she has her visa and come back together.

    4. which thread do I head to next? goofy.gif

  4. They received mine 15 business days ago and nothing yet but it still doesn't hurt to call everyday

. They dont review give it a week before you call again. Its not like when we are waiting case number. Its really 15 to 20 bussiness days and your lucky enough 10 bussiness days. waiting for my checklist to be reviewed. police clearance sent june 27 and still not reviewed. and not yet in their system.

it would have helped my paranoid mind if they could give an email confirmation that documents have been recieved or confirm that on phone and then continued processing them...I think I'll try again next week.

  5. I no longer wish to keep the lawyer who helped me prepare I-130 application. I believe the NVC has her as my agent right now because the correspondence is being sent to her and my IV bill was generated without me having submitted a DS 3032 form.

I have already paid my bills and will be preparing/sending all the docs myself from now on, my question is should I submit another DS 3032? or would that cause any delays/issues?
