The vermont filers who have been approved so far; do we know if they are getting approval from local offices or Vermont center ? I called uscis and a tier 1 told me that it's taking a year for cases to be approved and vermont center is working on June/July cases right now.

I was also just able to change address now using the I751 number. I got the same expect a reply by April 1 message, not sure if this would be via email or USPS.

Called USCIS today, was told VSC is currently doing April 13, 2015 cases.

The number starts with WAC (if filing from CSC) or EAC (if filing from VSC). Omit the dashes.

I tried both the numbers (I175 and CR189) even though the dropdown only has I175 option under form type. Both did not work. Further my I175 number does not work for checking case status but the CR189 does work for checking case status.

I called USCIS and was told that physical change of address is different from change of mailing address. Was told that the online application is for physical change of address only and can be processed only after the actual move has taken place. They told me to call them back next week after I was done completing the physical move.

For Mailing address change they told me to write a letter to VSC and that they will not send me back a letter confirming the mailing address change instead I have to get a letter delivered receipt from post office.

Does this sound about right? Also can someone pls confirm that VSC mailing address is:

Is there some special form or letter format I should use when writing to VSC about mailing address change?

You have two reciept numbers. One for the I-751 and the other that says cri-89. Try both but the I-751 one should work.

I have tried both several times with I751 form selected and get the same error. I guess the next thing to do is call USCIS?

I am moving and trying to change address on USCIS site for my I751 application. When I submit the form though the site gives me an error :

You must select the Form Number associated to your Receipt Number. The Form Number you selected does not match our records for that Receipt Number.

Anyone know why this could be happening?

VSC August filer here. Just checked case status and it hasn't really changed. Looking at forums for different months it seems VSC has done a few cases from May. Is it correct to assume I should expect my case to be done around end of this year?

My NOA1 date is 8/25, but still haven't received the biometric letter. Should I call and check the status?

Yes, you can ...but

It is better to get stamp on passport for travel as well. That will be much safer.

My wifes Conditional Green Card expires on 10-04-2015. We have received the NOA1 for i751 which says that her visa is extended by a year. We are planning on travelling abroad in Dec 2015. My question is should we carry the NOA1 with us while travelling? Is anything else required?

I have finally gathered all the evidence and have the application filled out. Just wondering what is a good way to arrange everything before mailing it. Should I attach a cover sheet on top of each evidence doc explaining what it is? Maybe put everything in a separate envelope inside the package?

Part 3/Question 5 is asking about "Alien Registration Number" of spouse. The spouse in this case (me) is US Citizen. So in this case are we supposed to leave alien number blank or give passport number?

After reading through that list I thought of the following extra things we can add:

- account statements of joint account of almost 2 years

- joint apartment insurance

- she had a surgery last year and on medical records I was listed as spouse in case some decision had to be made (I guess that would count as medical power of attorney)

I can't really think of anything else since we haven't made any big purchases yet since she came here like a car or house.

-her name on lease as spouse (not sure if it's considered a joint lease this way but listed as spouse)

-joint checking account

-joint tax returns of two years

-insurance policies that show her as beneficiary

One more question: Going through the evidence list on the forums I am thinking I should add her to the car title as well to have an additional item. But this will probably take an extra week or two to get everything done from DMV. Given that I am already about 30 days into the 90 day window should I get the title changed or should I go ahead and submit application with other evidence?

I am about to apply for my wifes removal of condition on GC. Her GC is expiring on Oct 4th 2015.

1. I am pretty sure I am supposed to be applying within (and not before) this 90 day window that started on July 4th, before it expires but still wanted to double check with forum members here. Am I correct?

2. What happens after I apply and if the procedure takes longer than Oct 4th which is when her GC expires, would she not be able to travel back and forth from the country during that time?

Today I accompanied my wife to isbd embassy for her interview, the interviewer waqs very friendly and interview was very simple. She got approved and we have been told to expect passport back in 5-10 days.

immihelp99, when my father sponsored me I was told the same thing your spouse was. As soon as we got a co sponsor the visa got issued, so dont worry, you are almost there.

I was really hoping to get interview date this week , but no such luck....

The rep said she didn't have that information. I'm not sure how to get that information.

When the rep told me about my case complete, she said there was some chance of getting Sept interview still. I called a week or so after that and the rep I got said she doesn't know anything about it and can't tell when the interview can or will be scheduled
