I filed 6 months ago and still didn't hear anything from vermont office. I check my case status almost everyday hoping I will see something new but still the same "saying they are doing a check background on me and on my husband. Really 6 mnths for a check background. I don't know why it is taking so long. I missed my husband so much and I want him here next to me hhh. Hope everyone will hear good news very soon.

  Congrats to you getting your NOA2! Reading about your story makes me feel like I am not alone. I just filed my application about a month ago and I am already getting impatient coz I miss my husband so much. So I can know how you feel and you had waited 7 months! I hope I don't have to wait that long but I hope the rest of your process goes fast. Best wishes.

Embassy call this morning. Told my husband to come in tomaorrow (11/19/2012 @ 3pm and pick up his visa!
