I know this is probably discussed already but does anyone know where they are at fir embassy appointments for Jamaica? Our case is completed and still just waiting impatiently!

This is just so frustrating...I know they could move faster if they wanted too!!

So according to the website mine says follow the instructions that the NVC sent us...the last letter I got was from the NVC stating that our case was complete and waiting an embassy appt!!! I hate waiting!

Where are you seeing the words "ready" on what website?

I just too posted about this...granted NVC jyst approved our case 2 weeks ago this has been very trying! How do I request the expedite?

My patience is obviously lacking but NVC has approved our application on July 12th so how long do I expect to wait for the Jamican Embassy to give us an appointment and anything I can do to help us get one! Thanks all!

Had already paid the AOS fee and assigned an agent...need to pay the IV fee and do ds-261 and just tried to get in annnndddd....no go?

I'm a little off on the letter abbreviations so I apologize but I have paid the 125. mailed in my affidavit of support assigned an agent and mailed in the proof of marriage, police record, birth certificates,& few other forms. I need to pay the 325. fee (not sure what its called) & do the ds-261 i believe that is it????

I called today because I have been trying to pay the fee 325. since end of April. I paid the 125. fee online with out issue and assigned an agent. Today they told me to mail my payment in and keep checking the website to fo the ds form. Frustrating to say the least....

I have been waiting for over a month to pay the fee and ds-260 because the website apparently is done. Is anyone else having this problem?

Our fiance visa was denied in January so on a planned already April trip we will be getting married. I knew the process for fiancé vida and have been on USCIS but am confused what to file??? Does anyone or can anyone provide a checklist for when I return I can start this journey? Thanks!

Ok...thats what the USCIS was saying but I thought hmmm there should more than just a I-130

We have now decided to get married and start that process. ...my question is where do I start..it looks like after we get married I submit I-130? Does anyone have a step breakdown? Did look on USCIS but was getting confused. Thanks

It sounds like the CO canceled both applications so they both should show denied now...according to the embassy this is the first they came across this....just my luck! I respect the process but it was over a year and a half for his previous one-heck people in the states get married,divorced,and re-married all in that time and its ok! Just frustrated and trying to figure out what our next step should be...sigh!

So if they deny both are we OK to appeal the decision or do we submit a whole new application or get married??

No his previous one was not cancelled sat in the system for over a year with out any updates and the tier 2 lady apologized because she said mine should have stopped at the NVC and one if them should have been cancelled out. At the interview the officer said he denying both applications so it will close the previous one out and we will have to re start the process.

As far as his charge there is no police report to validate the charge and that does make a relationship valid.

Not sure but the officer said he was not all concerned about that and he said its because he had a previous fiancee application that was still open...when I finally talked to the USCIS yesterday the lady even said outs should not have made it to Jamaica and wondered why no one closed out the previous one since there was no updates or inquiries

So do I front load proof by pleading my case to the Jamaican government? I feel like this is a hurdle I can not overcome and I'm getting so exhausted and I love this man with everything I have. I am truly at a loss and the more I read the more I get confused but I don't have time to waste....what or who do I contact to get somewhere

He was asked how we met, how long we knew each other , who proposed, when I was there last , and then asked about his previous application and previous fiancée

The drug charge was not of concern per the officer because its of less amount than cigerette were his exact words. He was concerned that we only were dating for a little over a year and he had a previous application filed a few years back but at the end denied him and the letter stated due to lack of evidence of a bonified relationship.

So do I try to appeal that or can I just get married on my April trip and start that process? How does a denial work?
