Hi All,

I am the beneficiary for k1 fiance visa, any one who has recently had the interview in islamabad embassy could please help.

I recieved the packet 3.5 and send all the documents mentioned in packet 3.5 on Friday August 23, 2013 and the American Express guy told me that I will get the interview date withing next 2 weeks.

2 weeks are over and I have not receieved the interview letterview letter - if any one could share their timings of getting the interview letter which may relax or stress me but atleast I will have some idea.

I received my packet 4 means interview date after submitting my packet 3 round about a month, so wait atleast for a month after sending packet3.

Help is needed - also one more question that what is the mode of payment at Islamabad embassy for k1 fiance visa - is it paid in USD and in cash?

I have converted Rs. into $ its $240 for K1 in cash, otherwise if u have American Visa Card u can use that as well.

Appreciate if you could share your expereinces.

Our status on CEAC website says ready but when my fiancée emailed the embassy they told her they haven't received our case. Anyone know why this happens?

R u talking about interview or after interview its ready? please clear this one

if u want to ask for an interview then u must wait at least 4 weeks after NVC left ur case.

First of all welcome to VJ, n then Congrats.. on ur approval NOA-2, dont worry sooner u will get ur hard copy in mail, maximum time for mail is 45 days.

Tick intend to, n write down (K1 process for legal Permanent Residence)

No problem, there is no expiry on intent of Marry letter n G-325A, u will required fresh copy of Intent letter for Marry, when beneficiary has an interview at USEMB. Good Luck

first of all Congrats.. n i hope u will get ur case number soon, or u can email or phone to NVC to get ur MNL Number, we got our case number by emailing them n got within 5 days...

Was AP and AR different? I thunk its the same process. Not sure

AP is when u put it in first time n AR is when AP is done n they find something new then u will be put into AR.

but its depend on country as well, that what terminology they are using for what.

it depends on the every case, may be they want to check ur relation, its not AP, but they want to make sure about ur relation that its genuine.

Please help... my fiance' in San Antonio is collecting all the paper works for our K1 visa process and he is about to send them soon. I was just reading about it and i saw I-134 Affidavit of Support form... does he need to fill that in? His supporter is going to be his church because his income currently isn't that much. Does he need to fill that form also? What kind of other documents he need if he has to fill that form?

These are all the documents that we have prepared...

- Cover letter

- Form I-129F

- Letters of intent to marry from me and my fiance

- Signed and dated Forms of G325A from me and fiance

- Passport style color photograph of him and me

- Declaration of how we met in person in the last two years for question 18 of the I-129F form

- Copy of his birth certificate (front and back)

- Copy of all pages of his passport

- Filing fee 340$

- Proof of having met in past 2 years and an ongoing relationship

Question is does he still need to send I-134? (You will need it when u have interview at USEMB)

I can say many things here, but in short, if there is more involvement of materialistic things specially money in any kind of relationship, it destroys everything, iam really sorry to hear about ur story, just withdraw ur petition n keep ur head high n be strong, she isn't last woman in ur life. First, Yes Lagos accepts co-sponsors on a k1 no problem.

Yes, you will need a co-sponsor. You do not meet the poverty guideline.

You need to make $19334 for 2 people in household.

Go to the Interview reviews for lagos and read up on questions and what its like. very helpful.

$19,334 is 125% for CR1n she is for K1 so they need 100% but when they will file AOS then yes they need to show 125%.
