I used a different web browser to see if it would work and it did. when I opened Firefox I had no errors when checking my visa status. It said...AT NVC.

Yes, I still can not see my status. I called DOS today. They tell me my file still at NVC and will not show up on CECA web site until it leaves building on its way to embassy.

Okay... I called DOS this morning as well and was told my case was still at the NVC. So I guess we wait....as usual.

Ok, what is going on at NVC. Last night called and got case number, but when looking it up - it said error. This morning on line it say " at NVC". Now it say " ERROR" again

That is exactly what it did to me. Last night it said Error....this morning....at NVC......now it has Error????????? Is it still doing that on you?

mine showed error until the next day.

Does anyone know why I would get an error when I go to check the status of visa. I have a case# ???

we need to start calling morning and night for next 2 days. we should get numbers thursday or friday.

July 3 NOA2. Shipped from TSC to NVC july 24. Still no record of it being at NVC. Waiting sucks.

I just called and was told the same thing...my case has not been received....please allow 8 weeks. hahahahaha. I have to laugh or I would go crazy with this waiting process!!!

Yup, as expected, no luck getting more info from the Tier 2 again. Guy was nice enough though...

So far it's one service request, multiple calls to Tier 2s, asking my Senator's caseworker to inquire, and also asking NVC Research to get on it. They say they have until 8/8 to respond to the service request, but fingers crossed it moves before then...

I hope you find out something soon. What is the hold up anyway? You call and call but get no more information than you started out with. Just keep thinking positive...you will get great news soon!!

I don't know about anyone one else but I had contacted my congressman about a week ago about my k1 Visa. I actually received a letter today stating that they can not release any information to me about MY case due to the Privacy Act of 1974. They need written permission from me before they can release information to me about my case. They sent me a form...had to laugh!!!! There is always a form to fill out and then...WAIT and WAIT.

CONGRATS!!!!!

I HOPE WE CAN RECEIVE OUR CASE # REAL SOON. I CAN'T WAIT...SO FRUSTRATING.

Yes it is very frustrating!! I was told by a friend who came to the U.S on a k1-visa from Ghana years ago, that it only took him 3 or 4 months for the entire process. Its just crazy how long it takes now!!

Our case shipped out July 25, 2013.

We have heard nothing new as of today. Hang in there...a large group of us were shipped around the same time. We all should have our case# soon if not this week...next week for sure!!

That is crazy!!! I would talk to someone higher up. My NOA2 was July 8, 2013 and my case has already been sent to NVC!!! I would put pressure on someone to get your case sent ASAP!!!! I hope it happens soon for you.

From what I have seen from other members it is taking around 10 days.

Help Us ..Because we do not have the Hard copy in the mail yet but soon as we do what do we need to do? We do have N V C Number Though. How long does it take to get case number?How do we do know they sent it to Ghana consulate and how do we contact Ghana consulate?Help Please This is what waiting for 359 days do to us we just shut down on ideas.

I just got wonderful news!!! My case has been sent to NVC for processing!!!!! So very excited and happy!!

I just called NVC and was told that the K1 visa for Fiancé is taking around 3 weeks before NVC is receiving them. If that is the case mine should be there the first of next week!!

My NOA2 was 6/27. I have not gotten any notification that my case has been transferred from TSC to NVC. I called NVC and they do not have my case yet. I am really upset. I put in a request for an inquiry with my senators office. I hope something happens soon.

Expecting an email saying my application was sent to the DOS ... instead I receive 2 emails yesterday afternoon

The first saying, "The post office returned your package as undeliverable ......"

then a second email saying, "we mailed you a document......."

I spent the next 3 hours on hold and the lady said the updates were most likely a mistake. I asked if my application was sent to the NVC and she said it was right after the NOA2 approval notice.

Please keep me updated when you get your case number because we should get it around the same time. If I get any info I will let you know. I called NVC and they said 8 weeks.....blah...blah...I am calling everyday to check anyway.

Just making sure TSC is still sending out notices and anyone from TSC that got a NVC number did receive a notice first. My NOA2 will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and still no notice.

I called NVC this morning and it is the same thing......8 weeks!!!!! Its just crazy.

You can also take receipts from where you two mail each other packages. I have everything you can think of in my packet that will be sent to Francis for his interview. Age is only a number!!!! I am older than Francis but that should not be the issue. Make sure you take as much evidence as you can. Weekly chats, emails, text messages. As lost_at_sea stated take flight information if your fiancée has traveled to see you or vice versa. I have been to Ghana twice in 5 months and that will be used as evidence. I know its hard but you will do fine on your interview. Be honest and confident in yourself and your relationship!! I wish you the best of luck!!!
