SO here is my statement , My roommate JUST WENT THROUGH THIS , he missed and did not register!! Well it took a little bit longer like about 3 months , but he is a citizen now !! He did last year , as some people here said , as long as you did not intent to deny you registration , you forgot or well life is not perfect... You need to contact them"Selective Service System"

But as @Dodgertown mentioned, mine did automatically , a lot of people it does automatically and people don't know. If I am not wrong you can check here https://www.sss.gov/Registration/Check-a-Registration/Verification-Form  ???? 

So I was freaking out too but find out it did automatically :) If yours is there they will mail you a Verification and a number :)

Well as I researched and I could never find an exact user that applied with a DUI, I would love to share my experience, so people out there can read and be a bit less stressed.

I had a DUI, paid all fines , did everything the court asked me to. I applied for my Removing Conditions and I sent everything that was stated at their website.. court papers , DUI classes, etc etc etc and etc... Followed every single step they asked and sent every peace they ask to.

I got approved without interview, which I thought at least I was going to be interviewed, No RFE and no interview ...

So if you have a DUI, just fill out and send out everything they ask for, and do not lie at any moment

Good luck you all and FYI.. I am gonna drop my Probation in court and I will be applying for my citizenship this year!!!

Remember each case is different ... and never give up!! faith is key for everything you do in life!!!

My turn guys... I thought with my DUI I was gonna be the last one but finally today I got email.. txt message and also the USCIS App gave me reminder... all at the same time So yes.. my greencard is in production :)mm, I wish good luck to you all!!!

what are the conditions to get i-551 stamp? because i want to go to travel out of the US on April. however, i still not got approval. i am wondering how to get i-551 stamp. Please advise!!

I went to Brazil in Feb, took my expired Greencard and the Extension letter.... everything went super smooth to get back .... I dont see a reason to get stamp when you have the letter my opinion ... Good luck you all!!

I just sent my application 2 days ago, I had a DUI also, well what I did was, certified copy from court and copy of proof of everything else I did, I actually tried to follow the steps that uscis says on their website, I went to the police station where I was arrested to get a copy, they said that the one from the court is what matters and should be enough, so I did not take one from them, hopefully with the court certified copy and copy of everything else should be enough. I have been trying to get more info online but so far could not find anything usefull. So I will learn from my mistakes I guess, expecting at least RFE for something or maybe an interview, I am not really worried actually , I have nothing to hide, I am married living with my wife and got a DUI. We will see happy to have u guys here to kind of share this BTW you are from Brazil same as me haha

we are about to remove conditions. when we moved back to the USA we lived at my in-laws house for about 6 months, and then we got our own place.

do we have to attach a letter with the package explaining that ? note: we have already submitted the ir-11 form online and got the confirmation letter.
