I am having CR1 interview on 5th February, as I am preparing interview docs I have been to Ethio Tele to request call history and I was told to bring a letter from the US embassy requesting the call

history otherwise we will not print anything for

you.

I have seen many Ethiopian embassy reviews posts mentioning that they had them before they went to interview and preduced them as soon as they were asked

How can I get these calls logs as am trying to avoid delays?

if you are there the chance will be greatly increased if not you just have to prepared evidences such as: photos, phone call logs, create a timeline of your relationship, 10 years of residency, boarding passes, chat logs, and anything that connect both of you.

The CO will mostly asks questions such as:

How did you guys meet?

When did he propose?

Where do you live?

What is your job title?

Who do you live with?

How many times did you visit her?

Do you have any sisters or brothers? What are their names?

Yes, you should take everything, as they will return the originals to you and keep the photocopies!

what and how much are the proofs of relationship items?

This is the worst wait in this whole process for me....

Someone needs to call them to find out whats going on, although i dont believe the ####### they are going to tell us.....

I just don't know whats going on with NVC? Nobody has been given an interview yet!

Does this thing ever say anything other than "Processing at NVC"?

It would be nice if they actually gave a real status for your case, such as "DS-3032 received, AoS approved, IV package received" etc.

Has anyone actually seen their message change?

I have never seen anything other than ''Processing at NVC'' thats why i gave up om it!

I called today & te rep said they were done giving appointments for the week.but there's a chance I could still get an appointment for feb.

This is so frustrating!!

Medical exam finished. Costs about 100 $ and lasts for about 4 hours long. Including: x-ray, vaccinations, blood tests, physio tests.

hey vjrners, i dont understand why the NVC and the embassy could take such a long time, just to schudule an interview date ? dont they communicate often ? or are they just ignoring my case ? ( CR1 ). Case was completed Dec 12 2012, and still, no interview date yet.

Mine was aslo completed the same date, however, according to some experienced VJ members, NVC schedules interviews in the first two weeks of the month for the following month's interviews, in which I think we did not make early enough for Dec scheduling!

I believe we have 80% chance of getting interview dates before Jan 14 for Feb interviews.

so lets just wait some good news!!

Wow! Really? My husband already mailed his DS-230 wd our civil docs last November 19 to NVC. My AOS got RFE but I was able to submit my corrections last Dec of 2012. NVC received my corrections on AOS Dec 31.. So hopefully by this time my case is already complete.

Btw I am an April 2012 filer. :-)

This letter is to inform you that your case is complete at NVC, all you just need to do is wait patiently the interview date to arrive.

Your case seems to be completed in time for February interview in which we all expect NVC will start scheduling from this Monday onwards.

my case was completed on early Dec 2012, I was expecting interview appointment but I just received NVC notification about Provisional Waiver of Unlawful Presecnce,

so what does that have to do with my process, is it another delay?

This notice applies to you if you are currently in the United States, are or have been unlawfully present and plan to apply for an Immigrant Visa at a U.S embassy or consulate abroad.

Beginning March 4, 2013, certain immediate relatives of U.S citizens may apply for a provisional waiver of inadmissibility due to unlawful presence before leaving the United States. For more information please visit immigrantvisas.state.gov.

Before filing Form I-601A , YOU MUST NOTIFY THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER (NVC) by emailing NVCI601A@state.gov. Failure to notify the NVC that you plan Form I-601A will delay your visa application.

Why does NVC have to send this notification to me?
