Just submitted an AR-11 online because we're moving into our new house on Friday
Mostly excited for a deed in both our names for RoC (that's how you know you're a VJ nerd). -
realised it's been a year since we got engaged. have done so much paperwork between then and now. poor trees.

Missed courier calling at 6:30am. Called DX Embassy line and he just came back. Got my passport and visa in hand! Thank fook.

Terrible anxiety dream last night that interview got moved to MNL at last min and had to fly there, then it got moved back. Can't wait for tomorrow to be over.

Hey there,
I didn't go again. I travelled to the US on one way ticket because my husband had to leave and we had to cancel the rental home and ship our furniture so I went with him because I would have had no home. We explained the situation at the passport check and he understood.
I thought about coming back middle of July to get it done again but we decided to do the AOS in the US because I couldn't expedite the interview date once I would passed the medical and living in...

He is medically retired since July.
Well, we contacted different immigratin attorneys. According to them it is not, because it wasn't right to hold my medical results back for a chest infection that is proven not TB. Plus, I had an approved petition and this does not completely break the rules. It is different for K-1's or people who are married a short amount, according to the immigration lawyers.
It is not recommended in general but it all depends on the Immigration Offic...

Have a perma-headache with worry about the interview and it's still 2 weeks away. Worried about being married so recently and proving his US domicile mostly.

Woah. Thought I'd try my luck calling the embassy. They sent out an interview letter on the 25th June. My interview is 8am on the 16th July! Holy cow!

Back at that "stalking the postman" phase. I wish they'd actually *use* the email provide in the cover letter instead of snail-mail.

CEAC touch date updated again today. I imagine that's the logging of my medical results against my forms. Hope that triggers an interview being scheduled!

Told my boss today that I'm gonna be leaving. Super sad. I really like and respect him and I love my job. He seems gutted.

Phew! Medical done. Didn't have any requests for more info, so I should assume that's a pass, pending blood results?
but we just have to stay strong for 2 more weeks! Looking forwards to seeing your approval
