YOU GUYS!!! I submitted a service request about 2 weeks ago, and was getting annoyed that I hadn't heard back. Today I got finally got a response. This is what it said:

"On 06/12/2013, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

On 06/25/2013, after you inquired about your I129F, we sent your approval notice to you using the most recent address we have on file. The original notice should arrive within 30 days."

So... from what I can tell, that means we got approved today! I checked the status again on the USCIS website and it still says "initial review," but as we've all seen, they typically don't change the status or send the notification until nighttime, U.S. time. I will post here again when I get the actual email and/or see the change on the website, but I couldn't resist posting my excitement! I will also refrain from updating my timeline until then. I just want to say to you all that I will NOT leave this forum until there is no transferred case left out there that hasn't been approved. I have been down in the dumps with you guys from the start and we are all in this together. I am so grateful to this community, and can't wait to share the rest of the journey with you!

Seeing other filers AFTER our dates.. being approved... makes me feel unequal with other being approved. WTH...

Kari still no response? Im still waiting too (( I see other Dec 17th filers approved.. or they have received a RFE... what is up with all of this wait?

As far as digits... For them to be conparable with other peoples last digits we should be giving last 5 digits... If not it doesnt make no sence...

Having in mind that first EAC1390 should be the same for everybody that turns into us having to give the whole number... And like i said i would understand if people wants to keep it in privacy...

If NOA1 receipt date (shown in peoples timelines) doest make any sence as far as approvals, case numbers doesnt either!!!

Thanks so much for the reply Strictly, The senators office said that it was something to do with the initial request that needs to be answered, they would not tell her anymore. I should know tomorrow what they need from us. I hope it is simple as you say and we can get our approval finalized quickly. If it takes another month I may go back to Peru so we can be together for Rosio's birthday.

Well my senators office just called and today will not be the day for me. She informed me on the 19th I was sent a RFI for something she said needs clarification on the initial request form. I had an immigration Attorney complete my application and send phone records, reciepts fro our vacations together, phone records photo albums...What the hell! could the government have lost all those documents in the shuffle from VSC to TSC? I am really stressed now. I just want my fiancee here. Does anyone have experience for what they ask for typically in an RFI?

We got our NOA2 hard copy today.

Is seems that they are following a lil bit of an order... A saw a couple december 6 filers getting approved last week so even if i also know that theyve approved some late december and january, they are not forgetting about early december...

Im december 10 so im hopping it will come soon!

Nothing is wrong, we're all in the same boat! My NOA1 is December 12th, and I'm still waiting also. Lots of us transfers are still waiting. I don't think the NOA1 dates mean much... we've seen a lot of the January filers that were transferred getting approved, and early December filers still waiting, but by the end of this week (which will be a month since the transfer), I think they will get most, if not all, approved. Just hang in there! I know it's tough. I've been walking around like a zombie the past couple weeks since we started seeing approvals... my brain and heart are just kind of on hold until we get that email. Take a page from Strictly4theluv's book and try to stay positive

Good morning all (US time). I had to take a 24-hour break from VJ to restore my sanity. Strictly4theluv and Azsara, you guys are so brave for going through this process from the opposite side. I'm the USC, and sometimes I forget how hard this will be for my fiance to leave his family, with whom he's very close. It's great that we have people from all over the world on here, all going through the same thing. Also, congrats to Aleksey Ksenia! As for the rest of us, let's not lose hope. This will be our week!

It seems though.. they go by their own math. They are taking Special USCIS Math classes where they learn to approve applications in their order.

Couldn't post it same day of APPROVAL!!! (6.21.13)

I was so down that day I even stopped checking my status. So irritating to see march and april approved and mine INITIAL REVIEW.

June 21st at 10:30 I decided just to take a peak.. OMG APPROVED!!!! I could not believe it! I had to refresh the page 4 times and type in different numbers.. YES ITS APPROVED! I still feel bad though for all December guys that are not approved YET! I'm sure it will happen soon!

I still cannot believe it. I still go online to check.

One case before me (**298) gor RFE on June 18th, mine (***299) approved on June 21st around 10:30pm and (***297) still initial review.

I never got sms and I recieved email notification on my old email. I changed my email address in the system about 4 months ago and they sent notification to old one....

I hope all these bedbugs will crawl in adjudicators ears and stimulate their brain so they can approve more applicants per day!! Especcialy December and January filers, like, RIGHT NOW!

Aww such a cute post! Im also 27 and nervous about leaving my family and friends but putting a lot of trust in my fiance to look after me and to God to lead me in the right path. My family are happy for me but ill be sad to leave them. Not to mention the stress of having everything to move - SCARY! Luckily my cat will be coming with me shes very excited!

Anyways I hope your NOA2 comes this week and we can all begin our lives with our future husband/wife!

QueenofBlades, that's the same link I posted. It does not say that the passport photos have to be American size, just that they have to have the right ratio (the head has to be a certain size, etc.). It does say that you need 2' x 2' photos (American size) for the DS-156, meaning you need to bring them to the embassy/consulate for the interview. Strictly4theluv, you're always so positive. I'm jealous of your optimism. I will definitely keep my fingers crossed for you guys, and for me, haha.

I think what I will do is just have him take a picture of himself and get it printed here, instead of waiting for him to mail it (just in case). When I applied for a tourist visa to china, I spent $10 to get "passport pictures" taken by a teenager at a photo store and the Chinese embassy wouldn't accept them because the photo quality was so bad. Then, I had a friend take my picture against a white background, uploaded it to this site to make sure the proportions were right: http://www.epassportphoto.com/ and had them printed myself, and they were accepted. So, if anyone else is worried about it and doesn't want to wait for them to get mailed, that's another option.

I try to ve positive, lets say i make/force myself to be positive to fight this difficult situation...

One of the things that REALLY keeps me going is being able to speak with all of you guys and realizing that im not alone (even tho we r so far appart from each other: UK, Malasya, china, russia, india, italy...), so i try to transmit to everybody in here this positiveness to pay back everything you guys helped me.

(and believe me: ive never ever been the kind of person to write in chats/forums, LOL)

Im down a lot of times, i want to be there with my fiancee, at the same time i have my heart divided in 2 peaces for the fact that im leaving my family and friends in spain and im moving to the other side of the world where i know imma be so happy but still is so far away from all my love ones back home...

Im 27 years old an im pretty attached to my mom dad brother and friends so...

Oh wow! Let me stop!! Gonna make everybody in here cry! LOL

well with that i just wanted to share with you guys my fellings about this whole thing... Say to you that sooner or later we will get our approvals, that IM SURE that everything is gonna be fine and that we need to think about now that we still (if you are the fiancee overseas) back home we need to enjoy our times with our family and friends and see life in a beautiful way.

Is people that didnt even find their love yet, and we did!

So, just feel happy, proud of yourself for going thru this being strong, confident and everything well be ok!

So im in here udating website to check my case status and here it is what it says:

Oh lorrrrdddd!!!! Last thing we need! LOL! hope it gets fixed pretty quick, even tho i know is nothing to check during weekends but u know i was just trying to see if magic happened...

As far as pics (sek298), at first i thought the samr thing u said but then checking at that link that queenofblades pasted it made me doubt... So idk... Just in case you guys should go ahead and take the bigger ones and have them ready to send them right away after getting rfe (if u guys get it) (hope not). As i said in another post, i know a girl that had to send them back (when she thought that they did it correctly when they send them at first) and it "only" toke them 10 more days (wich right now for us it could be and eternity) to get the approval back...

They were not ready for the rfe so they had to take the pics, she had to send them to her fiancee in the states and then he sent them so maybe if we are ready for the worst to happen it wont take that long...

I will cross our fingers for all of us!!!

Yea the UK ones are smaller and I didnt realise when i sent the petition! Oh well we will have to wait for the RFE!

I wont be visiting the states to take the smaller ones (so annoying) so i will need to try to find a place that does them here!

Really?? OMG! when i found out i was like ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! But we cant help it now. I know for a friend of mine (ive met her over here) that it toke them "only" ten days to receive the approval after they got the rfe notice...

So i guess is not that bad...

I just wish it takes less or they dont notice it...

We toke the pics in spain and over here pasport pics are smaller...

Just came back from the states to visit my fiancee so we went ahead and toke the pics at walgrens already just in case they do send the rfe we already have them to send it right away! U guys should do the same!

Still nothing Dec 12 my I129 was received, I try to remain positive but one thing is for certain. After my approval I am going to continue to work with my senator to shine a light on the terrible process used by Immigration. Its clear VSC relocated our applications to maintain a 5 month processing time. Management probably receives a bonus based on that metric.
