Hold on you are almost there, In my case it changed from AP to Ready then again AP, then again ready, then finally Issued. It's pretty normal 

In my case I received instructions from consulate after one week. If it's more than a week contact your US consulate, tell them that you have the waiver approval.

Usually consulate gets the approval notice electronically on same day or a day after the decision.

Not actually but the case update date is changing everyday.today i checked it and the date was 22 june. How much does it take?according to your experience,how long other people had to wait?

Even I don't know, no one can predict, as there is no rhyme or reason. In some cases it stays in READY state for 2 to 3 weeks. But I have seen few cases in which they held for 6+weeks then status turned to issued.

I am also in same situation waiting after interview, it shows READY for my case too. There is nothing we can do..just wait... keep patience.

Don't worry THE DAY will come, hopefully it will come soon.

Greetings mr deol. Everyday i see my ceac status its "last update date" is always date of that particular day. Today i saw it and it was 19 june what does it mean?

It means they are working on your file, every time someone opens your case it updates the date in system.

Bit more patience and you will see it changed to AP just for short time(say one day) then soon after it will change to ISSUED.

I'm still waiting, my status also shows READY on CEAC website. It is showing same status from 30-may-2014, but "case update date" changed several times.

Should i have to do my medical again if iam provided with visa?

If your previously provided medical is one year older or more then you have to re-take medical and police clearence certificate and any other affidavit of support papers if any.

It it is less than one year then it's fine. You will have a letter from embassy mentioning what you need to update.

I had my interview on jan. This year. I was handed with a slip that stated administrative processing 221(g) . Recently,about 5 days ago my status changed to ready from administrative processing.

Do not worry if it stays in READY state for few more days. In some cases it stays at READY for about 2 weeks, then one day in AP again then ISSUED.

I'm still looking to know your visa category? Like is it K1 or IR1 or CR1 or any other?

If it was recently changed to AP after long stay in READY then you will see ISSUED status tomorrow and will have your visa within 3 working days.

Category F1(family first preference) immigrant visa

My I-601 was approved from nebraska on 27-march-2014. After a week I received instruction letter from US embassy New Delhi to update medical, PCC and I-864. I went to interview on 16-may-2014. I was given a 221(g) to submit my birth certificate and divorce decree. I already submitted those two in 2012 during my first interview, but the biometrics lady said she don't have these docs in my file, may be they sent it back to me after one year from my previous interview which was on 13-sep-2012.

Ok then I submitted copies of those docs(they mentioned "copy of" on 221(g) letter). Consulate received it on 6-June-2014.

After receiving the docs my CEAC status got changed fom AP to READY on June 6. Since then it says same status but update date changed several times.

When I emailed my query to ustraveldocs they replied that they received my docs on 6-jun-2014, and the case is pending under 221(g) administrative processing. But the CEAC website shows READY status which was updated several times after June 6 (see below)

After filled ds-260 he got a call today from ambassy that u have to come here for ur Auth and biometric ur visa is approved

When was your interview? Do all approved applicants get second call from Embassy to take oath and biometrics?

Usually all applicants fill online DS 260 before the interview.

I am also experiencing something similar.

I am the applicant in the petition filed by my mother. Category F1

I was interviewed on 16-may-2014. Interview went well.

But the ceac statuses are confusing...

After interview it says Administrative Processing with update date of 16-may-2014.

Then on 30-may-2014 it changed to READY, since then it's on same status. But the update date is changed almost everyday after 4:30 PM IST.

There is no direct way to contact US embassy new Delhi, I emailed my query at support@utraveldocs.com and they replied that my case is pending under 221(g) administrative processing. But the status shows ready which is almost updated everyday after 4:30 PM IST.

My sister in law had a interview today after her interview thay told her that everything goes well u will get ur visa in 3 days n they kept her passport and now when I checked her status it's shows that her case is in admi nitrate be process what is mean by that???

If the interview went well then nothing to worry.

It happens all the time.

CEAC status will show AP for 3 days post interview then it will change to READY for about 2-4 days, then it will again show AP for a day then finally you will see ISSUED at CEAC website.

The number of days it stays on perticular status can vary case to case.

The statues goes from AP>>READY>>AP>>ISSUED

Don't panic nothing is wrong. They say 3-5 days but it takes longer to process most of time.

Status is READY at ceac after interview till today and when we call at VFS they say it's under processing......... Don't know what to do. It's just frustrating.

They just update the date but status remains unchanged

When did you received your visa? In feb 2014 your status was stuck on READY, what happened after that if you can update us please...

Confused they received everything but they are not moving ahead.

You need to contact, US consulate or Department of State. Your are in AP after the interview. It means your case is with DOS not with USCIS.
