All the documents like Police clearence, medical examination, I-864 etc need to be updated if they older than one year.
You don't have to pay while filling the forms again if you have already paid. You will need your visa fee invoice number to fill out these forms.
I went through same process. I provided new medical, new PCC and updated I-864 to consulate.
-
They might have lost it but they will give you your original documents back.
We too started the proccess in 2012 and only got the visa by the end of May.
So be patient
They received it today,
My status is again updated to "ready" with today's "update" date.
I hope it will be processed without any other interruption.

You have one year to submit the missing documents.
Did they ask you for a specific document that you didn't submit originally?
I submitted it today.
I have a confusion they asked me to submit a copy of divorce decree. But they already have my original with them. Original was submitted in 2012, I have the submission receipt.
Is there is a possibility that they lost my original or they don't have a copy machine there.

Yes you are free to post here, however since your information is Inda specific it is useless to us here.
So what if it is useless to you people. Philippines posts gives me an idea at least.
There is no harm to anyone on this forum.

Congratulations to everyone who got issued
Mine one is on hold, I received another 221(g) along with my passport. They need more documents from me.
The info I Provided before was accurate to my experience. I received the passport back with a 221(g).
REMEMBER : I am talking about US Consulate NEW DELHI. It's different here. Philppines people are lucky compared to Indians

I received another 221(g) to submit more documents.

Hi everyone,
I was interviewed at New Delhi consulate on 16-may-2014 for my immigrant visa application. After the interview I was given a 221(g) mentioning to submit my birth certificate.
I submitted it according to instructions, embassy received it on 27-may-2014.
Then on 30-may-2014 status on CEAC Changed to "Ready". It was AP before that. Then on 02-jun-2014 the status remained same but the "status updated date" changed to 02-jun-2014.
Since then it is showing same status.
HERE IS WHAT IT SAYS UNDER THE STATUS
U.S. Department of State
IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
Ready
Immigrant Visa Case Number: NWD2009XXXXXX XX NWD
Case Creation Date: 07-Dec-2009
Status Updated Date: 02-Jun-2014
Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. MY QUESTION IS DO I NEED TO RESCHEDULE INTEVIEW OR I SHOULD WAIT MORE OR IT IS NORMAL TO HAVE THIS STATUS?
-
PSST! You are in the Philippines forum... what happens in India... stays in India. So you are NOT providing anything close to accurate information... you would do better to provide this info in the India forum.
Yes I agree, that I am in wrong forum. Because I thought the process is similar at all consulates but now I know that it varies from consulate to consulate. For example Juarez Mexico has all different. Even the I-601 are accepted directly at Juarez consulate. No other US consulate accepts waivers anymore, they all go to LOCKBOX in PHOENIX.
What I was tryin to convey in my first post that applicants who are made to wait for months, they are often notified with a 221(g) notice.
-
You are giving bad information. passports are not returned when issued a 221g.
Well in INDIA at New Delhi Consulate they always return passport if they issue a 221(g) notice. The information I provided is 100% correct. I am saying it with personal experience. I went through this long AP 2 times.
And have seen many others
-
Hopefully! *praying*
Because I read some they waited
For weeks or months before they get issued.
The applicants who are made to wait for months, their passports are returned with a 221(g) notice mentioning that the case need to go throgh manadantory administrative processing.

Congratulations AI422
To babe2012,
Hey don't forget to update us here tomorrow after you get your visa issued
-
I hope so too,
Don't get me wrong. You know your case better than me.
-
Second interview during AP seems something serious, they questioned you for an hour that's another big thing.
They are going to investigate more before they come to any decision.

My ceac status updates today. From ready to AP. My interview was last May 22nd.

You are at a different embassy. Each one runs at a different speed. The normal sequence post interview is Ready > Administrative Processing > Ready > Administrative Processing > Ready > Issued
But sometimes those steps happen very quickly, and sometimes they jump over steps. There is no rhyme or reason as to why these works the way they do. Some are fast, some are slow. One here at Manila got issued in 3 days and one took 2 months.. As hard as we try to find a pattern, we don't.
Sometimes you get two or more Readys in a row. Seems every time someone touches the file, it generates another Ready.
You do not need a second interview and probably never will. Don't confuse Ready with Ready for interview. Not the same. If they want you back for another interview, they will advise you. Does not usually happen.
You should look for posts for those interviewig in India to get a better idea of how long it takes there. Just bear in mind the chaotic nature of how long each one takes so use the timees you find there as a reasonabe idea only, not as a definitive guide as to how long yours will be.
Good luck to you
Thanks for information. I started a new thread here on visajourney, I'll see if any Indian replies.
And I have also sent an email to ustraveldocs requesting clarification on this issue.
Thanks once again

Hi everyone,
I was interviewed for immigrant visa on 16 May 2014 at US Embassy New Delhi.
After the interview I checked the status on CEAC website it shown as "Administrative Processing" until May 30, 2014
On May 30 it changed to "READY" under it in the explaination box it says my case is ready for interview.
On Jund 2nd the status remained same but the "status update date" changed to June 2nd, 2014.
It's kind of strange, I already appeared for interview.
Do I need to re-schedule for 2nd Interview.
What should I do? Is something went wrong in my case?

Hi everyone,
I was interviewed on May 16, 2014 at US embassy New Delhi regarding my FB1 case.
Interview went well, but the consular officer gave me a 221(g) mentioning submission of my birth certificate.
I submitted birth certificate on 23 May, Consulate received it on 27th.
From May 16 to May 30 my status on CEAC shown "Administrative Processiong".
Then on May 30 it changed to "READY" then on June 2nd the status remained same but the "update" date changed to June 2,2014.
In the explaination below the status it says my case is ready for interview, I am confused here, I already had interview recently, Do I need to re-schedule appointment?
What should I do?
Please if anyone experienced this kind of unusual updates for an immigrant visa.
I appreciate any kind of suggestion, advice or information.
Thanks

Today I checked CEAC status, it says "READY"
What it means? Does it means decision is ready? Or application is ready for further review?
-
Have you received your approval or anything else from Nebraska, if not please contact them, it's been out of time now you have every right to Contact them.
Sorry for such a late reply... I hope you are approved and living happy in US now....
-
I was given a white sheet both times.
Filing country is India. Consulate New Delhi

Hi everyone,
As you people know tha nebraska approved my I-601 waiver on 27 march 2014. Consulate received it too on same day.
After that US Embassy New Delhi sent me instructions, which says get new PCC, new medical and update I-864. Then to schedule interview at consulate. I did it same way, I gathered all the updated documents and scheduled appointment on May 16, 2014.(there is huge waiting time to get appointment). During the interview officer didn't asked me anything regarding my waiver, just normal questions. After that he handed me a 221(g) notice to submitt my birth certificate as my file was missing my birth certificate.
I submitted birth certificate at drop off location, consulate received it on 27 May 2014.
Then today on 29th they updated the status on CEAC. It says Administrative Processing again, I already went through this AP twice, now again.
Question is that my file was missing only a document nothing serious. Now what can be the reasons for this new AP.
Please help me
After 601 approval, instructions about Police records, etc.
in Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)
