  1. Unless Singledad is a uscis immigration officer working on vawa cases , I think that like the rest of us NOBODY should solely rely on posts from this forum to guess what their chances are !....

Panamaguy...dude, chill for a second and let the haters hate !

Only the Lord is in control and don't let anybody make you forget that...EVER !!!

    God bless you !

  4. I don't want to get my hopes up! But I believe my I-360 got approved feb 15 2013 I just checked my status today on the website usicis.gov and it says.... On February 15, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I360 PETITION FOR AMERASIAN, WIDOWER, OR SPECIAL IMMIGRANT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. Anyone on here get the same message? I haven't received an actual letter from my lawyer or a phone call from her.

congrats are in orders  enjoy your new life dear!

  5. It is not about having a lawyer or not the main reason why people write in this forum. We are looking here for support and having other people going through the same situation and emotions that we experience. Also, we learn about each other experiences concerning the legal paperwork and our timelines. There is a great lawyer here with tons of experience in vawa cases: Sandra, she gives excellent advises and also support.

So please don't say that this forum is just for people with no lawyers, you can't say who deserves to be here and who dont, we are all in the same boat.

    peanutbutter ...you misread my quote!!!!

nowhere does it said what you imply!!! it is directed to the Lawyers and not the people on the forum!!!! I am one of the non-lawyer ones myself! i was expressing my disgust from the many lawyers taking advantage of uninformed people and making them pay fees when they cannot give them proper representation with their cases and the filers end up in this forum seeking for help later!!!! So i am going to be nice nice and not spill my whole plate on you!

re-read all my post from the beginning and you will have an idea of who i am!!!!!!

    take care.

  6. i do not understand the purpose of hiring a lawyer when one still have to come to this forum to ask for help and guidance.SMH..

Please friends shake your lawyers really hard and be careful who you give your money to!!!!!

There are a lot of fraudsters out there willing to make you believe they are competent and experienced with VAWA cases, amongst others, whwn thet are NOT !

Good luck to all and God bless.

  7. RFE just like you!!! Lorphelpme!

Looks like they follow the timeline- yours were before mine. I applied on August 31, 2011.

    About 16 months waiting now.

I can't believe I am saying this but I am glad they asked for RFE because it meant my case was touched.

By what you are saying the 'processing time "guideline is faulty as best....

they have been "processing june 2011" for the longest but you applied in august 2011

i am kinda glad they are moving faster than their website shows.

    Good luck to you too!
