The big days are coming up so soon! He will be arriving January 15th and insha'Allah we will be marrying shortly after We decided to do a civil marriage, then Nikkah at the masjid, and then host a small walima/dinner for our close friends and family a bit after the nikkah/civil marriage. -

Thank you so much guys. It feels a bit surreal for me right now, you know? Because you struggle for so long then finally you are approved and it's kind of like " After all this time we are going to be physically together without saying goodbye after 3 weeks" but it just feels so weird to not be waiting on little documents and NOA2's for the time being but rather awaiting your actual soulmate lol I guess the real challenge begins after he's here
but we just feel really...

Today our CEAC changed from AP to Ready. Still makes me so nervous, I keep thinking "All I want for Christmas is My hubby and family to be brought together. Family asks me what I want for Christmas and all I can think of is Mohamed to be here.........

According to the CEAC website our visa was "issued today"
just waiting for the consulate to call us and say it's time to pick it up! -
