you never know when they are ready to issue you visa you may get call from embassy in few days before your medical expire and ask for if you could travel to usa before your medical will expire inshaallha keep hopes up you will get your visa soon and other jv all also

Yarm24 mine was a month ago. Update is really of no value because we all need a VISA stampd on our passport. I feel that soon I would stop checking CEAC website and stop posting on visajourney because I am losing hope.

i am been silent reader here since 2010 and in ap last 26 months last update 13 march i did send embassy 3rd time my medical in oct 2013 so my medical going to expire in april i know its hard time for everyone who has been waiting for very long we have been waiting for 6 years since we orgiinal filed this case there is no red flag in my case no age difference between us i do pray all of you get out from ap soon and receive your visa insha allha

You did the correct thing by filing "married filing jointly" when your wife did not have a SSN or ITIN.

You will not face any problem based on your tax filing.

the embassy has asked us to show are taxes for futher prosessing of our case. I have a transcript of my 2011 taxes and it says married fileing seperate. I do not have a tax identification number for my spouse yet, but i do have a concern. in 2011 me and my husband were togather, but when i got back to the United States i filed my taxes as married fileing seperate, i just want to be sure there want be a problem with my taxes..... so what i am asking is married fileing seperatly or jointly does that matter?

I filed for my husband in may of 2008 with a i130 petition we have been to 2 interviews in Islambad Pakistan. He was also interview at his home too. Since the last home interview now they want another medical, my taxes, and proof of relationship, expecally records with continuing contact with the petitioner. Now I am a bit confused about what the embassy needs now. Do they want records of our contact from 2008 till present. Or from his last interview.

But I need to send in my taxes to the embassy How important are the taxes with your case note we have already irs tax its show we filed joint but irs hasn,t issue me number identification they need copy of passport

fews days ago i send passport copy notarization from us consulate to my wife via govt courier so we can continued the process for tax identification but she did,.t get yet

we want to know if this is going to problem if we submit tax return without identification number on it
