    We were almost done with our immigration. Just had got the case complete email Friday. Sigh...sad how things have to go. :(

    One year ago today...We sent out our I-130 for my wife. Who would have thought 1 year later...we'd still be waiting!

    Just got a second checklist for my AOS from the NVC....sighs. What a long painful process :(

      Why are people getting checklists? What is it that they're doing wrong? I'm about to send my stuff in. You're scaring me. It's been more than a year since I researched all the steps in detail. Has something changed?

      I think they are becoming more strict with the new forms. Search what are people getting checklist for so you don't make the same mistake.

      My first AOS package was emailed the middle of July. I think they just need more financial information from me. I thought I could have brought it to the interview with my wife but I guess they will need it before hand. Also the new forms you need to pay close attention to everything on it and answer correctly

    Hey Summer! Sorry for the late reply. I was overseas with my wife and didnt really have internet to get on. But Im back in the states and all is good. Just now waiting for an interview date for the wifey! How are things with you?

    NVC case number assigned as of June 7! Now we are getting a roll on 2 months after approval!

    Almost 2 weeks...and still no case number. Called NVC and said try back mid June for the case number. WHY SO LONG!?!?

      I should note 2 weeks since the NVC confirmed they received it. Not since my approval.

    NVC has received my case on May 20! Now waiting on a case number!

    Well today I got a letter from the USCIS Atlanta office about somebody inquiring on my petition 05/16/13. They said it was sent to the NVC 5/10/13. I guess now it is time for the waiting game for a case number! ​

    Called NVC today...still waiting for them to get my file. Leaving to see the wife in 22 days! Hurry up USCIS!

      Waiting time seems to never end! My case: NOA2-Feb28 and NVC received my casefile on April 18- imagine that!

      Have you called USCIS?- (if indeed they forwarded your casefile to NVC)

      I still have no idea when mine will make it to the NVC...Im patiently waiting! And Ive called the NVC everytime and emailed them but so far nothing. I dont bother with USCIS...they wont be of any help. Its in Atlanta...smh

      my hubby called NVC today they said they have received our file on 19th :) but said it takes couple of weeks to give us our case Number :)

    Hello friend! Follow LingChe wiki links uptop where it says Wiki. You should start preparing your police certificate, Tax transcripts, I-864, If you need a co-sponsor start looking for one, get all your supporting documents ready like receipts for money transfers or anything like that. Youre in the last leg...not as stressful as the first. Everything gonna be okay!

    Thank you soooooooo much!!!! Im so glad!!! I was losing all hope of having my wife here by July but today...Its def. a realistic chance!!!! I hope our process thru the NVC is quick! Hope youre doing well as well :) So glad Atlanta is getting its act otgether!

      Update:My hubby received a letter jst now frm USCIS(Memphis field office) in response to the e-request.They requested for my birth certfcate before they will forward my case to NVC. Weird?! My NOA2 is on hold..=(
