It went well. The interview was scheduled at 3pm. I got there at 2:35 and didn't get called in until 3:40. 

I noticed some people came in after me but still got called earlier. Probably their IOs finished other cases faster.

My IO was neither pleasant nor unpleasant. She was kind of neutral. When I got into her office, she had a big binder of all my paperworks on her desk.

The interview itself was approx 20mins from start to finish. We started off with a little chit chat about the weather. Then she asked me to give her my GC, passports, and driver's license to make copies. 

After that we proceeded with the English and Civics tests.

She gave me a piece of paper and asked me to read "Where is the White House?" then another piece of paper and asked me to write "The White House is in Washington DC." She then asked me 6 questions as follows:

1> What is an amendment?

2> Who vetoes bills?

3> To which do we show loyalty when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?

4> Who did we fight in WWII?

5> What is the Supreme Law of the Land?

6> What is the capital of your state?

Then we went over my N400, made some adjustments. She asked for more evidence of my marriage. I gave her a recent Car Lease that we just co-signed. She also took my 2015 and 2016 Tax and Account Transcripts. I reached out and almost gave her more paperworks then she said: "That's all I need."

Then she gave me form N-652 and said: "Congratulations! I just approved your case. You should expect to receive your oath letter in 2-3 weeks."

I shook her hand and thanked her. She then showed me the way out.

I was probably one of the last people that got interviewed yesterday since when I walked out, they were already closed.

One more note, during the time that I was there I didn't see anyone getting their oath letters right after the interviews. They all went straight to the door when done.

The form I referred to can be seen here https://www.ilw.com/forms/N445.pdf and it included a question about traveling outside of US. The interviewer should be able to let you know of any implication for your travel plan if any. Good luck!

Thank you Reene, cdneh and Shezi for the wishes  I finished the interview in 15 mins! Waiting for my oath ceremony this afternoon! Really wish everyone the same painless and quick process to citizenship.

I missed the oath by an hour because the interview appointments where so backlogged so now I have to wait until I get my appointment for the oath  but YAY I passed. 

 

 

Heyy, congrats Arinlars! I didn't know we have to bring that much of evidence, am I missing something? I am planning to bring what they asked in the interview appointment letter.

What time was your appointment? I hope you would get your oath ceremony letter soon!

Received a notification today that my interview has been scheduled and they will mail out the interview notice!

For those who have received their interview dates, how long did it take for you to receive that appointment letter (guess that's the only way you would know your interview date)?

This notification comes at a day before I meet my 3-year residency.

Nothing I've ever done with USCIS has been fast.  Filed for K1 in July, sent to NVC in November, and then stalled in AP at NVC for nearly two months, so my POE was in March the following year.  Filed AOS, was sent from Vermont to California for "faster processing", which actually took longer than anyone else in my group thread.  Filed for ROC in October, finally that came through 11 months later. I got an email saying they mailed my interview letter but I have to wait and see for when! I am excited and stressed. I wonder what will they ask us (3 y rule) in the interview.

Finally finally i received my fingerprint appointment letter today! The appointment is for 11/18... phew... thought i would have missed it. Submitted e-request, called USCIS twice, the last call was escalated to 2nd tier and he was able to give the details of when it got mailed out (surprisingly it was sent out early this week) and when my appointment would be. His advice was to get to know my mailman; "I dont know how it is like in your country" he said. Anyway, happy I got the letter today, yay!

Dose anyone know about the Fingerprints notice. Will I get it by text message as well or just by mailing? I got the NOA Oct 17. After that i have not heard anything. thank you

Did you receive email/text for NOA letter? If you did, then you would get email/text when your fingerprint appointment has been scheduled. Once you get that notification, the fingerprint appointment letter will be sent to your address with the details.

Good. I would think you ought to get the fingerprint notice very soon, based just on your NOA1 date. If it were me, and it didn't come by the middle of next week, I would call them. Are you a NBC or IOE number?

It's NBC.

Yes, I was expecting it to arrive by this week, but still nothing today. I'm a little nervous since we get our neighbors' letter in our inbox once in a while and I hope it won't be the case.

Haven't received my letter for fingerprint schedule... starting to get worried

Just received a notification that my fingerprint appointment has been scheduled, gotta wait for the letter to find out the date.

Received my NOA letter today dated 10/19.

Mine says on the paper notification it was received on the 11th, accepted on the 12th, and the Notice date reads the 13th.

Received the text and email notification today

When logged into the website to check my case status, it said the case has been accepted on 10/18 so I assume that's the NOA date?
