Well before you marry a person you meet online, really know them well first. There's a lot of ways to really know the person. Don't just believe everything the person is telling you. Dig more deeper about their life, their family. Make sure that person is not trying to scam you. My husband and I meet online 9 years ago and 2 years was spent online. He find some way to meet other people who lives in my area too and who knows me. He started asking people about me and my family and I didn't know that until after I was here in the US with him already. He made sure he was making the right decision to marry me. So it took him 2 years to really know that there's no scam involve. Don't just jump right to marriage right away. Know the person you are marrying. Be creative, find a way to know them more through friends, through neighbors, family, relatives. They might get upset when they learned you did all that but at least you are sure you made the right decision on marrying that person.

I would say use coupons a lot. Husband and i never have credit cards as we do not beleive in paying interest. We have bank cards instead so we budget how much we spend. Also if we want to buy something and we couldnt afford it right away we save for it. So 6 years of living here in the us and 7 years of being married we was able to buy our own house 2 years ago. We paid cash on it so we dont have any mortgage payments. We own 3 cars but no car payments for all three are bought second hand with cash. When i was new here we didnt even own a car since my husband spend most of his salary to support me overseas and pay for immigration stuff. It was hard walking everywhere especially during winter here in ohio. The hus and works hard so we was able to save up. Now i am a full time housewife and mom. We are not wealthy but we dont have a lot of debt also and we dont live paycheck to paycheck now. Sure we dont have a fancy cars, or all the apple's gadgets but at least we dont have to worry about car payments and mortgage. It was hard to budget but with patience everybody can do it.

I dont know the stories of some people here that complaints that their process are taking forever and complaints why uscis approves petition where the couple meet online and in person once or twice. But its not about how you met or how many times you met but its how bona fide your marriage is or relationship. My husband and i met online, almost 2 years after that he propose marriage online too. And send the engagement ring through the mail. Couple months after that we met personally and got married in my country. 7 momths after that he petitioned me 8 months later we are together again. Never had problems with the whole process you know why? Because uscis believe its a bona fide marriage and that they could not see any red flags with our relationship. 7 years later we have 2 kids already and i am on the process of naturalizing myself. So dont be bitter because your process takes so long while others dont. We all went through the waiting game. Its frustrating but your case is not always the same as the others.

I think he did think twice and gave her wife another chance. Also are you sure that no bf would allow their gf to marry someone so they could get something out of it? Lol. I dont know what world you live in but these things really happens and theres a lot of women who would stop at nothing to get what they wants. These women plays the emotions of their victims and i believe the op is so inlove with his wife that he couldnt decide what to do even when he knows the right thing to do hence he is here asking for opinions.

I think in reality she only have two options: either go back to the Philippines voluntarily or the other option is she'll get deported which is more shameful. I believe this is marriage Fraud.
