  1. So an update from our neck of the woods. We finally got our card production txt today (after it switched back the day after interview).. We also found out we got our house, hopefully moving in the next two weeks to our little piece of heaven and my hubbies new full time job (home updates and 2 acres to care for). He is also happy to get his classic cars here and in his garage to start his rebuilds. Happy hubby = happier wife!!

Hopefully I can make the trip back down under in January with my husband to help him finalize everything.. I miss him when we are apart..

I am glad to see everyone moving right along and so many approvals. I am thankful that the stressful USCIS is done for now and now I can focus on my husband, new home, upcoming test and runs!!!

    Congrats

  2. SMS received at 5 pm

    EAD/AP COMBOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Wooohoooo I am so freaking excited for you. Finally light at the end of the tunnel. Interview next

  4. 4 months ordeal finally over, GC in hand :)

I really thank whole VJ family for helping me and saving my tons of money which I would have spent on Lawyer.

I congratulate all who already have their GC\EAD and wish luck to ppl still waiting .

Congrats Buddy  I'll keep my finger crossed that mine comes on Friday since i'm always 2 day behind you  Have fun in India when you guys go.Take care and be blessed

  5. Congrats to everyone on approvals, interview dates, and EAD's

I woke up this morning to check my uscis and nothing new, so I decided to call and see what info I could get about my EAD since my interview is only 2weeks away, only to be told im still within the 3month time frame and to wait

I took a small nap, woke-up and checked again....EAD in production!

Im ecstatic! Ill run to the mailbox for the next couple of days. Although its on its way, I dont think I'll have enough time to do anything with it for the interview. What do you guys think? Should I wait for an approval until after my interview to head over to the SS with hopefully a GC on hand, or should I just go right as soon as my ead gets here?

Im asking because im not sure what the difference will be with an ead issued ss# card, and a GC issued ss#. I guess its my ocd kicking in.... I rather have a normal ss# card than the ss# card stamped with the "for work only" I think id find myself right back at the office after receiving the GC

You should definitely wait. Had I waited I'd not have to make another trip to the SS office. Sigh it's always crowded in there and they're terribly slow

  6. Our local office is Sacramento, CA. My husband (non USC) began getting nervous today. I on the other hand began relaxing as my nerves had me on high the last week!! We shall see tomorrow..

Same thing happened to me. The weeks leading up to my interview i made myself sick with worry(literally) and my husband (USC) was fine. 10 minutes before we got to the USCIS office he was a wreck. When we got called in he looked pale as a ghost and sweating like he was in the desert. You need to stay calm cause like i was told the "burden of proof" is on the Non Citizen. Everything will workout. Best of luck

  7. I used to say the same thing. I want kids but I don't want to give birth to them. I ended up pregnant with twins and I had a c-section. Giving birth is not bad at all, I had a c-section and a week later I was doing normal life. Is just a few days of being in pain/annoyed, and trust me, you will forget everything when you have a baby (or more) to take care of.

I'm 30 and Sean is 38, he always wanted kids. Me, not so much...hahaha

Lol I'm not sure if its gonna work for me. I was in the delivery room with my both my sis and BFF when they gave birth and I passed out. It was too much for me. And me and pain aren't friends. I bump my toe and the sky is about to fall lol
