Hello All,
I have been following this forum for the last 2-3 months and found it very helpful and informative. Thank you all for sharing the information and helping each other. Just wanted to share this good news that my wife's 130 has been approved from VSC yesterday. Her PD is 01/27/2012. Hope this information helps.

There are other members of Visa Journey from the Dominican Republic which are passing the same process as you. You could talk to them and see how they are doing and coping with the waiting. You could leave them a message, they will help you. The girl name Talisha1, already have her second interview and was approved. Take care!

It takes a year o a little longer for you to have another interview at the Dominican Republic after a denial. First you have to receive from USCIS a NOIR o a re-approval of your case. According to the time you had the interview you could be receiving it in the next months. So you just have to be a little patient. I have seen other cases like this and all of them take a little longer than a year to resolve. If your appointment was on June 2012, by July 2013 you will be receiving your new interview letter if you case is re-approved.
Mercedes at the Marcos Rubio's office is very helpful, just sent her again your consent so she could go ahead and help you with your case. Fax the consent and call to see if they have received it. While you wait, keep saving every little thing to prove that you have a legit marriage, sent everything you can to USCIS when they sent you NOIR. Then when USCIS re-approved your case, the embassy in Santo Domingo is going to sent you new appointment date. That takes two months after USCIS approve your case. Wait for your NOIR, do not reapply again because as they told you then your process will take longer. Take care!

I am a permanent resident that is sponsoring my wife and daughter over here to immigrate to the US. My question is, my lawyer file paperwork back in january 2011, and i just recently got a paper from NVC stating i need to pay $230 for my wife, $230 for my daughter, and $88 for me. So does that mean they approved my wife and my daughter? and what are my wife and daughter time frame til they can immigate here?
It means your form I-130 was approved by USCIS and now you have to complete the process with NVC to obtain your interview date when your priority date becomes current in the visa bulletin. Now you are in the step 2 of the process.
Step 2 - After the immigrant petition has been approved by USCIS, then the next step is preliminary processing for a visa with the Department of State, National Visa Center. Visit Immigrant Visa Processing – the National Visa Center for information related to:
Affidavit of Support
Required applicant documents (i.e. birth certificates, police reports, marriage/divorce certificates, etc.)
Medical Exam/Panel physician information
Interviews

I will go for November 22, 2010 or December 1, 2010. Either way we are going to receive an IL for March.

Hi everybody... Can someone help me? My wife got has her interview on January/24/2012, PD:sept/13/2010, I have a question, in the list of documents necessaries for the interview, the FINANCIAL EVINDENCE has the letter "Y", the NVC has received the document. My question is if is neccesary fill up again all forms about affidavit of support(I-864 form) for bring to interview or she has to bring just copy of the last Incomtaxes returns? Please can sombody help me?
No you do not need to bring a new I-864 form to the interview. Bring the 2011 Income Tax form and W2 of the Sponsor and Co-sponsor if you use one. But it is not need for a new affidavit.

No, the validity of the I-864, I-864 EZ, or I-864A is considered indefinite; beginning from the date the sponsor files it with the National Visa Center, the U.S. embassy or consulate.

The NVC have scheduled October's interview for the Dominican Republic since Tuesday at 12 PM. So I recommend you to call them or wait for your IL this evening.
