I went to this website https://passportstatus.state.gov/opss/OPSS_Status_ip.asp and provided all the details. It just returned an application number and asked me to reenter my email address. Is this considered as tracking?

At my oath Ceremony they instructed us to not say any part of the oath we had a religious or moral opposition to. To be honest my ADD kicked in mid oath and I got completely distracted and left out a chuck in the middle. Don't think they reLly care that much.

I think this is what going to happen to me too. Just wanted to see how practical it is to use the available option.

You might also simply mouth the words silently.

This is what I have been thinking of doing and I do it every month when I take the pledge at my volunteer service meeting. I just wanted to use the available option if it is easy to use.

I don't think you can request it before the interview. During the interview the officer will ask you how you want to say the oath.

Hello,

I am going through the Naturalization procedure now. I want to avoid reciting the words "so help me God" when I take the Oath. This webpage http://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartJ-Chapter3.html shows a way to do it. However, it doesn't tell me how to request this. I am wondering if there is anyone here in Visa Journey who already tried this approach and can guide me. If I request it during the interview, do you think this will delay the process? I don't mind if my case gets delayed by a month or two due to this request. If it gets delayed more than that, I would rather prefer just taking the oath as is.

I am going to submit my N400 application in less than a month. I live in North Alabama in Tennessee valley region, so most likely my office is going to be Atlanta field office. I have a question regarding same day oath ceremony at Atlanta office. I live about 200 miles from Atlanta. Is there anyway that I can request for same day Oath ceremony?Even to get my Bio metrics done I have to drive to Birmingham which is about 100 miles from where I live. So I would really love to avoid driving to Atlanta twice. Also, (if possible) I don't want to use lot of my vacation time for this purpose

Thanks KASH2011. Received both NOA and the card yesterday. The approval date is 09/09/2015.

Finally I think my case was approved.

VSC has changed the processing time to 6 months instead of a particular date (it was showing November 1, 2014 for the last two weeks). I checked my case status now and it says "On Sep 14, 2015, we mailed your new card for receipt number xxxxxxxxxx blah blah blah." When I checked the status on Monday it said "Case was received on Dec 03, 2014". I am surprised that they changed the status to mailed the card without saying Case approved. I will stay skeptical until I receive the card.

You should be able to talk to a Tier 1. If you say you cannot you can try this website and press on USCIS calling you instead and see how that works out for you

Thanks. The representative kept asking me for a reason to talk to Tier 1 officer. I don't have a reason (as the processing time still shows it as Nov 1st, 2014 and I can't prove it to them that January filers are getting approved.) so I had to say bye bye to her. She did tell me that I can't start my N400 application until my I751 is approved. Hopefully my I751 gets approved before then end of November.

As I live in the south, approaching a senator is useless on this issue . So I thought I will try to get hold of a Tier 1 officer. I saw that some of you talked to USCIS customer representatives. I tried calling the 800 number, however there is no option to talk to a representative, I tried choosing various options but it didn't work. How can one even get to talk to them?

Moe .. So now i checked the list again and i see it has been updated on the 18th... Vsc listed Nov 24th

And mine is Nov 21 do u think im qualified for an info pass since my date passed ? Or should i wait till the end of the month?

Uaoo, are you sure about the date being changed to Nov 24th? I just checked and it shows it as Nov 1st. Vsc updated it today.

It is safe to travel with the extension notice and the expired GC, but if you want to back yourself up, schedule an infopass appt and get your passport stamped:)

I am planning to travel overseas in December, in case VSC doesn't process (hope this isn't the case) the application by then is it safe to travel? The GC extension expiration date on NOA is late Feb, 2016. Did anyone travel overseas with NOA? I need to book the flight and have to gather as much information as possible before that.
