My father is Permanent Resident and he filled form I-130 for my brother and me. in November 21 2011.
we are both (my brother and i), over 21 years and unmarried.
on USCIS Website it says that the processing time for this application is 6 ~ months.
we did not received any reply from them so i contacted them and i received a email from them which says
" U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) acknowledges the fact that your case is still pending processing and is currently beyond our normal processing times as reported on the website. Unfortunately, there are no Visas available for your relative's preference category at this time. Our office processes these cases as our resources and priorities allow. We closely monitor visa availability to ensure no undue delay occurs."
so my question is how long does it normally takes for the processing of such cases, is it unique for my case ?
