I am filling for my parents and brother and I would like to know if I can mail all the applications and supporting documents together or they need to be mailed separately?

Also I am mailing I-130 for each of them, copies of my birth certificate and translation, copy of my naturalization certificate, my parents marriage certificate and translation and for siblings their birth certificate and translation. Do I need to mail affidavit of support at this time or after the visa is approved? The I-130 instructions were not clear about sending that. There's anything else I should send at this time?

Finally got my citizenship done today. After my interview the officer asked if I wanted to take the Oath today which my office don't normally do same day oath but because I live far away and would have to fly to Anchorage again they asked me if I wanted to take the Oath today a few hours after passing the interview. I am updating my info below and if you can update yours too. That is very helpful for others that are still waiting for an interview. Thank you for everybody for helping with this whole process.

Was anyone asked for pictures during interview? I wasn't sure if I had to bring them since I did not send any with my package.

Some questions does not specify how many answers are expected like the ones below. If you give just one of the possible answers would that be enough?

Eu ainda estou no processo de obter minha cidadania mas estou tentando verificar os documentos que preciso para aplicar para meus pais e irmao como residentes permanentes.

Eu gostaria de saber se preciso enviar traducoes juramentadas a certidao de nascimento do meu irmao e de casamento dos meus pais ou uma traducao simples e aceita tbm? O processo para pais e em cerca de 6 meses a um ano correto? E para irmaos sao 12-14 anos certo?

Alguem que aplicou para os pais saberia me dizer como e a entrevista deles no consulado? Seria necessario tradutor caso eles nao consigam entender tudo em ingles?

I am still in the process to get my citizenship but I am looking for information to bring my parents once I am eligible to apply.
Do I need to have certified translation of their marriage certificate? For siblings I know it is a long wait but can I submit application for parents and sibling all at the same time? Do I have to pay the application fee separately for each of them?

I got a text message and email notifying my interview was scheduled so I just called USCIS military helpline and asked if he could tell me when my interview was scheduled because my husband is getting deployed in a few weeks. He told me sometimes they can see the date sometimes they can't but he was going to check. I gave him my application # and he checked for me. If you already got a text message that you interview was scheduled just give USCIS a call and ask if they can see anything. Hope that helps!!!

My interview was finally scheduled for April 23rd I haven't got the letter yet but found out the date by calling USCIS.

I finally received a text message saying my case is in line for interview. This is the first time my case was updated online since I submitted my package back in May 2017. Does anyone knows how long it takes for them to actually schedule the interview now?

Me too....my case status never updated from "Your case was received..." Seems Anchorage field office still working on March 17, 2017 cases. Does anyone know why some offices are so backed up? 

Me neither. My field office still working on January 19th cases but I'm in Alaska. My status also never even changed still says case was received. 😢

Hello everybody.... I'm happy some cases are moving along. I haven't posted much because I haven't  had any updates after fingerprints on June 20th. They never updated anything online either so my case still listed as received. 😓 Very slow process but hopefully we will all get our cases approved.

Has anyone filed recently for naturalization at Nebraska Service Center? Why we are not able to see or see any case updates online or receive any email/text message ? I already had my fingerprints collected but my case still shows as "Your case was received" and it's never updated. Anyone knows the reason why?

Me too! There was only two other people in front of me and they got it done right away. I went to ask if my husband needed to be here for the interview as he deploys quite often and they told me no but that I am looking into a long waiting time until I have my interview =( we will see!!Since I don't get any notifications online I have to wait until I get the actual letter in the mail.

That would be terrible!!!! =( I know they close some days due to bad weather so I will check before I leave here in the morning but I also scheduled an appointment just in case so I don't waste a day of work to go there. I will keep you posted on how everything goes! I did early walk in for AOS before and was fine but was a different office but I'm hoping that with people living in areas that are so isolated they might be a little nicer.

I understand the frustration with living on an island.  Before I moved to the US I lived on a little island near France that was 9 by 5 miles.  Whenever the weather was bad we'd never get food delivered to the stores and mail and newspapers were late and planes and boats had trouble landing/docking in the harbor.  And getting off that rock was so expensive!  Here are some reviews of the Anchorage field office - hopefully they might give you some insight!

HAHAHAHAA reading your post is just like picturing how everything is around here! I am hoping I won't have any problems with the early walk-in but I also scheduled an Infopass just in case because they say on their website they won't see anyone in person unless you have an appointment. It is a waiting game but I hope everything works out for everybody here! I haven't even started studying yet LOL.... but will probably start pretty soon! They do the civics test before the actual interview is that how it works?

I don't know much about the Nebraska SC or your local field office.  How are processing times there, do you know?  Do you expect a long wait?

That is true! The whole waiting is really terrible I wish we could just do the whole thing at once biometrics and interview and then just wait for their decision. I haven't really seen anyone going to Anchorage yet to ask but according to their website they are still processing cases as of August 9, 2016 so I imagine they are a little slower than normal. I will try to do an early walk-in on June 20th for biometrics because I depend on getting on the military flights otherwise is close to a $1000 just to get to Anchorage from where I live now so we will see how everything goes! Are you waiting for the background check? Do they notify with a letter when that is done?

Did you not add your application number to your online account?  That's odd you didn't get any notification about your biometrics appt.

I did but as Texaco5 said in another thread Nebraska SC does not send out any notifications despite of sending the G-1145 form with my application so my case status online still shows " My Case Was Received" but was never updated and probably won't be... I pretty much have to wait until I receive the actual letter in the mail.

Just got my letter scheduling biometrics. Nebraska service center really never update the case status on their website or sent any notifications.

Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview.

Just an update to confirm the information Texaco5 provided before my case status never really updated on their website and I never got any email/text message so I guess Nebraska Service Center really never sends any confirmation other than the payment confirmation. Today I received the letter scheduling my biometrics appointment a month from now. I will try to do an early walk-in because I live on an island and depend on getting on a C-130  flight to Anchorage. Thanks for all the valuable information you gave me before.

Thank you all for all the information! That was very helpful. I will wait and see if I get the fingerprints notice sometime soon! =)

Your receipt number suggests the application is in LINcoln, Nebraska and therefore probably explains why there were not texts or emails. Hmmm that makes sense! Yes I had to apply there because my husband serves in the military. Maybe once the case moves to the field office I will have more information!?
