  1. USCIS website says they're working on June 4 and I have July date I assumed I couldn't call yet because they're going to tell me I'm withing normal waiting times. It's getting so frustrating seeing approvals after our date day in and day out. I just want to cry :crying:

I Agree I'm July 9 and have seen people after me get approved it is frustating ..... And nothing we can do about it

  2. Hi guys,

As my topic states, my petition has been in the system for exactly six months and 3 days now.

Should I call my senator or the USCIS people and start asking questions or should I give them a week or so from

the six month mark to send me the NOA2? technically I would give them a week and a half. I dont want to wait anymore :(

Oh n I havent gotten any notices pertaining to any alien registration numbers or anything else either.

Hang in there my NOA1 is July 9 at Vermont and Im still waiting our time will come... I thought about calling but they will only tell us we are still in normal processing time seeing the website says June 4.... Patience is the key i guess...good luck :bonk:

  3. Keno and I are starting to slowly prepare all the documentation we are going to need to submit our I-129F. We want to take our time with the whole process to make sure every 'i' is dotted and every 't' is crossed. Being one of the first same-sex bi-national couples to immigrate to the US on a K-1 visa on the heels of a potential victory in the Supreme Court on June 27th means we don't want anything to go wrong on our end.

While we cannot file our I-129F until DOMA is repealed, we want to be ready the instant it is to submit our paperwork because it is such a time-consuming process.

Keno is currently securing his passport quality photos which he will include in his packet of info (G-325a, statement of intent to marry) that he will send to me in late January. He should have them within the week.

To everyone who supports us, thank you very much - you have no idea how much kind words and support means to us.

To those who wish us ill or dislike us because of our sexuality, please just avoid posting inflammatory comments and leave us be - that's all we ask and we do wish you the best of luck on your journey to bring your loved one to the US.

Good Luck to you both and to your adventure.....

  4. I have an NOA1 date of July-5th, 2012.

Now it has been 6 months and still nothing. I have tried calling tier-2 officers and all they say is there is a backlog.

Prior to today, Vermont center was processing applications dated May-28th as of Oct-30th.

Today there has been another update as of Nov-30th, but the dates are for June-4th. So even with a 1 month progress, has the center only processed a week's worth of applications?

At this rate, I wonder when our papers will come through. Very frustrating!

    AMT

I agree my NOA 1 is July 9 and I have read of some people on here a couple of days past my date who have been approved. makes you wonder how they process these... happy for those who have been approved already. hoping to hear something very soon.... :bonk:

  5. I need some insight and support guys.

Ive been following some of you with your posts and timelines, and quite a few of you received your NOA2 fairly quickly after the NOA1.

We still havent though:*( im starting to get nervous. We didnt get any RFEs or anything either which is a good thing obviously but

the fact the NOA2 isnt here yet is making me wonder have they or are they even looking at our petition? Ive called once recently, but

got the automated system which basically said the same thing that I see on the website, which says we're in the initial review stage.

    IM NERVOUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSS AND SCAREEDDD :*(((

pleaseee tell me this usually how long it takes and I have nothing to worry about :( but than why are others' petitions being accepted

so quickly?:( not that I have a problem with them uniting as soon as possible but I would like to have my baby here with me like years ago:(

i dont know what to do how to chill or uggghhhhhhhhhhh is how I feel actually :( is there a number that I can call and talk to an actual person, not a damn machine.

Thank you for listening and any informative and supportive comments will be appreciated :(
