My wife's visa was approved yesterday!! I will post a detailed interview review later on.

I wish the best to everyone interviewing this week!! My hubby is going t take the long trek to Casablanca tomorrow night to get his medical done!! It is so hard to believe that we are almost to our final moments of this process! It's like a dream come true for sure!

Case has been completed last week. May I ask how long it will take to receive the interview schedule ?! Should I call HK embassy?!

as far as how long it is going to take to schedule an interview, it really depends on how many interview openings your embassy will have. So, there is no straight forward answer for that question. However, you can do some little research by looking at people's timelines from your embassy to see how long it took them to schedule an interview. Personally it took me 16 days for an interview to be scheduled.

it is exciting ! but I have this mixed feelings of being excited and nervous and fear..my situaion is little bit complicated as I explained before. BUT Allah is great than my fears!

He just scheduled it yesterday for the 15th of this month they would not let him come sooner. He called the lady doctor and they want 1400 dirhams. I heard the man doctor is the same price and not very nice.

I see.. so, I guess she should wait until 2 weeks to the interview date. she should call 05.01.13 do you happen to know the contact info for that lady doctor

Case received by the embassy today (according to DHL tracking)! yaaay! Of course this is right before the weekend, oh well. I've got my email requesting an earlier date all ready, about to go send it. Fingers crossed this works!

hhhhh yup it always work. it worked with me before my case was complete.

Obsessively checking my email... After a month of waiting, hubby has gotten a little pessimistic, and doesn't think we'll make the May interview cut... Seriously hoping he's wrong!

We wanted to include all the cases whose interview hasn't happened yet (meaning even if it's been schedule, the interview date itself hasn't passed yet) so that others could come to the thread and approximately see how long the wait has been from case complete to receiving an interview date to the actual interview itself. If we removed the cases who have been assigned an interview it would leave very little info.

i got an RFE from NVC and i used the original cover sheet..did not have any issues

Now, don't panic again! it will take at least a week for it to clear. ...and don't make the same mistake others made, do not wait until it shows "paid" to print out the cover letter. you can do it before that. at least I have done it and it worked without issue

You will receive an email from NVC for the interview appointment on 04/04/2013 and your interview will be scheduled on 05/08/2013.

I checked payment portal: AOS showed as paid and listed petitioner's name, but IV fee shows nothing and does not list principal applicant's name and fee amount. I've seen it listed principal applicant previously but now not shown anything. They already rec'd DS-3032, but no bill invoice yet...What's going on here

Don't panic! they are getting ready to invoice it? you should see it in couple days.

I received this email from NVC today.....

"We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and

Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying

the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future

correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the

DS-3032.".....

Does this mean NVC accepted it?

Will I receive IV bill invoice soon right?

right! it has been accepted and you will be billed pretty soon. keep an eye on the payment portal

I guess we are in line for May interview too.. but I see where someone who's Case was completed on 03/13/13 was issued an interview date of 04/25/13.. not sure how that happened.. but if you could let me know where to find the thread i would be happy to post our informtion too.. thanks and hang in there.. i guess we are in for a bit of a wait..
