  1. Do we need to make letter of intent? The same thing that we sent in USCIS and present this as a proof at the time of interview? Is it really needed? My fiancé already mailed me his affidavit of support, ITR, pay stubs, w2, noa1, noa2, letter from NVC etc. . but we didn't know if letter of intent will be needed too. I don't have it yet. I will appreciate ur response guys. Thanks

hello, For us as per advised by friends, We did submit 2 letters of intent when we sent our K1 application, one from me and one signed by him...dates are close to the filing...We just wrote there that we are both at age and free, and willing to get married within 90 days upon arrival to US...so simple...I just followed the guides here...then, you should present another one during the interview plus the affidavit of support, and IRS copy, and recent,at least 3 mos pay stubs...some are lucky for not presenting these stuff, but just be prepared... :)goodluck to all of us...

  2. hello! i have a question.what if my bf can't visit me before we file the petition? we are planning to begin next month.but his last visit here in the phil is july 2011,last year. we have so many pictures together but the thing is we don't have a latest one. guys, is it ok to file and do the first step?its not yet over 2 years since his last visit. he's planning a vacation here but not as early as we wish because of his bc work. please help..i need some advice. :)

it doesn't matter if you've been in the relationship for yrs...as long as you've met within 2 yrs...so it does mean as well that the minimum time of the existence of the relationship is 2 yrs...the photocopied passport stamps and few dated pictures will do...Goodluck to us!

  3. Hello there! Looking for Filipinas (fiancee) with similar timeline to maybe help each other out. Here's where I am on my journey. NOA2 was approved on 24AUG12....... I think it will be beneficial to all of us if help each other out. Hoping to here from my lovely fellow-Filipinas! Thanks. :)

it's fantastic being approved for only 15 days! so amazed!how did you do that?some people been waiting for almost a year, mine is more than a month now...your case is giving us hope!

  4. you will get your noa1 soon too :) be patient!! goodluck to us all!!

We sent the application to Ca Service Center last July 3, 2012, and until now are still waiting for the NOA1, though check was cashed after a week...But I already emailed the service center last Tuesday and just now that I received their reply, they informed me that they had the application on July 18, 2012 then I was given a case number, and told me that they would be sending a duplicate of NOA1...so just keep waiting, then if it won't come within 30 days, email the service center wherein you forwarded your I-129F...Goodluck to us!

I'm a Filipino working here in Thailand, my fiancee, a Filipino-American filed the I-129F at California Service Center...I heard from friends that it might take a year for the processing coz the USCIS will send my papers for background check to the US Embassy-Philippines then after that, will be sent back to US Embassy here in Thailand...But there are also some people who are saying that it will just takes months...Please give me some idea about this issue...Thanks and more Power to us!
