You can put "To Whom it may Concern", or address it to the US Department of Homeland Security, or just a simple Certification of Employment...all you need is a proof that you're presently employed, the status of your employment, they can include your yearly/hourly salary...
goodLuck!

Hi there...you can read these posts here at VJ so that you can have a guidance:
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/60692-what-is-the-difference-between-i-134-and-i-864/
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/444814-i-134-or-i-864/
goodLuck!

Based on my experience, you should include the copy of all you passport pages...not just the page stamped with your entry...
-
Scanned and printed evidences are better if you are going to present these docs during the interview, they won't allow you to take your mobile phone or any electronic device inside the Embassy.
-
You should submit 2 I-864, for each of you...and same docs like citizenship certificate copy, proof of residence, payslip (3), income tax returns(3 yrs)
-
I just sent my AOS like a wk ago, and I submitted two pictures for everything!
-
Hi there...am not pretty sure of my reply but I'll just try to keep you calm...Based on my own understanding, they will do the background check, like the criminal records, and check the records if you did petition someone prior to the existing petition...but don't worry much...stay calm and wait patiently...if problems arise, face it and resolve strategically...goodluck!

You still have two months ...just pray harder that everything will be fine...though nothing is certain when it comes to visa applications, just make sure that you have on hand all the necessary docs for packet 3 so that it could save time, get ready for the next step...wishin you all the best of luck...

Hi there! you don't need a film copy but keep that CD coz you can use that for another medical exam here in US for you AOS...goodluck!

Hi there...I came from Bangkok, and I got my police report last Jan paying a 150 baht...100 for the fee since I'm foreigner there, and 50 for mailing...It's free for Thai Nationals...
but it took 3 weeks to get it, I never heard a 1,500 fee for speeding up the process since I know couple of friends who got their clearances with the same fee with mine...
-
Hi there! when we filed ours, I made a cover letter, containing what's inside the packet....double check everything, specially the info and signature...goodluck!

Wow, I am trully sorry to hear that you have been on AP for quite some time. I am sure that you have called, but have they said why?? Seems to me that your interview went as smooth as mine or better. Did you email them? It has not even been a week and I am so sad. I can't imagine how you feel. Did they give you a time frame?
What is a 221g? But you were still approved?? Thank you for your inputs
Thank you so much!
Thank you, sorry for your AP as well, I know it has been a long time for yourself. Did they tell you why were you put on AP?
221g is soft denial, and they were askin for some missing docs from us....My hubby, fiancee then used to call the NVC and asked about our case and why we were under AP , though we already submitted the docs needed, and the NVC rep told him that all we need to do is wait for the news from the USEM in Bangkok...and after 3 days...I received my passport....one question...did the Consul keep your passport? if they do keep, might be that they are just doin some name checks....
-
Hi there! based on my experience with Immigration Lawyer...I would advise you to wait patiently...and did you sent back the RFE that they were askin?...we also filed K1 last July 16, 2012....and my POE was March 3, 2013...goodluck and am wishin you all the best!

SCOPSSCATA@uscis.dhs.gov ...try sending email to that address and ask about the status of your application, but make sure that the petitioner will make the enquiry, provide them the full name, birthdate, and address of the petitioner...goodluck!
-
Hi there, I'm not really sure about how they process, coz for us, the K1 and my being here in US just took 7 mos, and I was given 221g then, and some people waited for a year or more, and some are for lesser duration...I know the feeling of waiting...but pls be more patient...but I guess, you are really beyond the waiting period, and your lawyer must work extra now! goodluck!
-
you're welcome...and goodluck! as long as you give more evidences during the interview, it would be fine...
-
don't worry much, I was on AP then, but they gave me a 221g...for your case that they didn't give you any and was told that you were approved...it must be that they're just making some verification of your docs or making name checks...chill and wait patiently...you'll be fine...goodluck!

sawasdee kha! don't worry much about NOA1 coz I didn't receive the same notice when we filed...but if it will take 30 days of not receiving NOA1, and they already cashed your check...
you can email: SCOPSSCATA@uscis.dhs.gov ...
make sure that the petitioner will email, give the full name of applicant, birthdate, and address...goodluck to your journey!
-
Hi there! I'm not really sure but I guess not as long as you give them the copy, coz all they'll check is the frequency of your communications, coz when I used ours, they were all in our native language as well...goodluck!

Hi there! I'll try to answer your questions based on my understanding and experiences when I did the same....
1.) The medical exam result(sealed envelope) will be submitted to the embassy upon interview, and the hospital/clinic will give this to the "beneficiary" after the exam or in some cases, it may take few days before the beneficiary can pick-up the result personally, though I'm not sure about the procedures in your country...
2.) I just secured 2 copies of each form before I went to my interview, but submitted only one copy each ...
3.) You can make follow-up to the embassy about the packet 3, all the information abt police clearance, medical, and forms are included in that packet...and they will just give you a website, and you can also check the copy of packet 3 online at the USEM website, you need to know your case number to check your status online. Make sure to make copies of financial docs needed, and at least 2 yrs tax returns/W2(2011 and 2012)...some may even ask for 3 yrs, but it always depends on the Consul...
4.) Just make a copy of your NOA2 and submit, but make sure you keep a copy of that because you'll be needing that for the AOS.
5. The intent to marry should be sent upon filing the 129F...but you can make another copy with more details to be submitted upon interview, but this is not necessarily required...
I'm wishing you all the best in your journey! fighting! Goodluck....

hi there, after the interview if you pass, your passport will be kept for few days, then it will be send thru mail...
-
lol...might be he entered a wrong case number...i havent got a problem when i was checkin my status there, i was on AP for almost 3 wks...and i found it reliable, coz it provided correct update till i got my visa...
a friend of mine status reads " issued" does that mean they issued his wife a visa
her interview date is 02.26.13

it depends on the US embassy that you had the interview...some will take 2 days, some more days...check reviews at your country's portal here...Congratz!
anyone can advise the amount of waiting time from the approval to pick up at DHL?
thank you

hi there...I know what you're trying to point out here, I also felt the same when I was refused at first...But to tell you honestly, I love the people here, the VJers...they are here to guide and support each other...some will give weird or unacceptable advice, and some are brilliant insights, but who are we to judge, it's the beauty of individuality, we are answering queries based on our knowledge and experiences and its up to you to weigh things over...
I hope that you are here to get info and be guided, not to criticize one's point of view...they are just trying to answer your questions and give you the things that might happen...it's up to you to follow or ignore...Enjoy your journey and I wish you all the best...
that is why i want to get married later on, not just yet...for it not to seem weird.
no sympathy? really? what have i done to you...the law itself is ridiculous and denies all kinds of things to those that are honest and good. do u have sympathy for the consuls at the embassy denying people visas? people that have evidence of being attached to their country with an honest intention of visiting America while those that bring no proof get 10 year visas? like i said, the law itself is crazy and some people out there are too.
( K1 approved) petitoner is On SSDI and depressed, 2012 Earnings only $15K but 2013 $20k!

Hi there! I would like to give an unsolicited advice...since the K1 is approved, just go on and have the interview, and if it didn't work, he could go to the PI and marry the fiance...I know someone who had an interview at USEM last January 2013, and the guy here in the US is receiving SSDI, she was denied due to the reason that the petitioner is receiving money from the government and he's not capable of supporting the beneficiary...but as what others say, it always a case to case with regards to using a co-sponsor, just try every possible way...and always have plan A and B...goodluck to your friends!
